Questions for Curt Sutherly

Long-time UFO researcher Curt Sutherly, author of "UFO Mysteries: A Reporter Seeks the Truth," will talk about an almost-forgotten UFO pioneer, Kenneth Arnold, whose spectacular sighting of nine objects on June 24, 1947 began the popular UFO era. Curt has researched not only Arnold's life, but his involvement in the controversial Maury Island UFO case.

The show will be recorded on March 13th, and scheduled for broadcast on March 18th.

Curt,
How did Kenneth Arnold's description of the UFOs change, and when did he first mention the single crescent shaped craft?
How did Arnold come to think the UFOs were extraterrestrial?
What was Arnold's opinion of the Contactee claims of ET interaction?

Also, I'm interested in hearing the details on Arnold's second UFO sighting. It's interesting to me that most later UFO sightings involved single craft, but back in the early days they sometimes flew in flocks.

Ahead of Curt Sutherly's appearance on The Paracast, he was kind enough to write a short account of the Maury Island affair, based, in part, on his interview with Kenneth Arnold in the 1970s. You'll read it in the March 17, 2012 issue of The Paracast Newsletter.
