QUESTION:
Is THE PARACAST avoiding the abduction phenomenon?
==============================
Okay, there are all kinds of problems with the heavy-handed term "abduction" and maybe there is a better word. Contactee? Experiencer? For the purposes of this posting, I'll use the very loaded term - abduction.
I went thru the PARACAST shows and came up with a surprisingly small number of guests with a focus on the Abduction Phenomenon. Alas - the list is quite probably incomplete, I may have missed more than a few. And, some of these guests have been on more than once.
Here they are:
=========
* Stanton Friedman & Kathleen Marden talking about Betty & Barney Hill
* Dave Jacobs
* Dr. Roger Leir (implants)
* Sean Casteel (a little bit)
* Jim Sparks
* Derrel Simms
* Stan Romanek
* Jeff Ritzman
* The Clueless One
In a recent talk by Richard Dolan, he spoke about the potential problems with disclosure. And one of the obstacles is that the disclosure folks need to deal with the abduction phenomenon.
He poses it like this:
Some government official has a press conference and declares that, yes, the UFO stories are legitimate and we are sharing all that we know. But, don't worry.
The first question from the audience is: "What about these Abduction stories? People claim to be abducted from their bedrooms, their memories tampered and they are completely controlled. So, THIS is true too - Right?"
This issue is complicated and downright WEIRD.
The disclosure people seem to be more comfortable ignoring this end of the UFO phenomenon, rather than open up a bag of worms.
Is the PARACAST more comfortable avoiding it too?
I ask because the ongoing content of the show is "light" on this subject. And maybe I'm just particularly fascinated with this very intriguing subject. I like the show, it's refreshing and tries to look at a lot of different associated subjects. But, like other researchers - the abduction thing seems under reported on the show.
Anyway - it's a sort of pattern, and I'm curious why.
peace,
Mike C!
