Hudson Valley sightings 82-95

Hello all. I'm a first time poster, long time listener.

I read a book in the mid 90s called "Night Siege" by Dr. Hynek
and Philip J. Imbrogno. A very interesting book about boomerange
shaped UFOs in the Hudson Valley area of NY state. The sightings
lasted from 1982 to 1995. That's a long time yet I never hear or
read about these sightings outside of this book. It's never mentioned
on the UFO Files or other UFO documentaries I've seen. All you seem to
hear about V shaped craft are the Phoenix lights incident.

Are you guys aware of these sightings?

Just my two cents but I think this subject would be a cool topic
for the podcast.

For a long period after reading this book, I was certain that this (the Hudson Valley events) were some type of military test vehicle. Or even a classified experiment testing what the civilian population (and the media) would do when faced with events like this.

As time goes by, though, I think this is not so likely. By now, such a vehicle would be well known and the results of such an amazing study would have leaked by now.

I think we are just left with another set of inexplicable events.

(Many similar "craft" have been reported from other locations around the world. The Illinois sightings from 2000 come to mind.)
