I WANT TO CLEAR UP A LOT OF CONFUSION ABOUT THE OBJECTS IN THE NIGHT SKY.
Most everyone says these moving, star-like objects are satellites. But I recently worked out that they are not.

Interesting. I've always focused on if they quickly move direction instead of their speed (or size/if there's any discernable shape or oddness to what is moving)

you're welcome... it's the answer to the conversations held right here about ten years ago, about my videos on youtube.
they were mostly like, 'well did you check this, did you check that, are you sure this isn't the ISS, sure it's not satellites??'

if you haven't seen the videos, you can go to Youtube, and put BLACKSKYWATCH in the search box, then click the red circle. enjoy! hello to my old friends if any are still around..

found out i'm way off on my calculation. instead of 7 seconds, it closer to one-half second. but i will always know there's more up there than satellites, having watched one of these objects slow to a stop. guess that's what it's gonna take to prove it, or film it taking a turn.

Where was the error? It did seem too long, but on the surface, the reasoning seemed okay.
