In the next week or two, we'll be updating to a new, more secure version of our forum software. One of the "fixes" is to disallow a username that's the same as the password.
So if that applies to you -- or you just have a simple password such as "dog" or "cat" -- please change it when you have the chance.
A secure password is normally a random combination of letters and numbers, with mixed caps and lower case.
Just go to your User CP and click Edit Email & Password to make the change. You will, of course, have to enter your present password before you pick a new one.
