A New Unread Posts Feature!

We've done it again. Some of you have asked for an easier way to find unread posts, and we've answered your requests.

The second line, in the Welcome block on the upper right end of the forum screen will now display a message about whether there are posts you've missed. No muss, no fuss, and we hope it works.

Havent bothered to download 3.0.1 although Ive been notified of its availability several times.

Umm, not to be a wet blanket.

But is there an option to toggle off the unread post count?

Since i'm an irregular forum participate and my unread post count is like 139 in just one day, lol.

There isn't. It's a case of one person's feature being another person's distraction.

Here's the plan: We just wanted to make it easier for you to see the messages posted since your last visit.

You can always click Mark Forums Read at the lower portion of our forum's home page, and it zeroes the counter.

But before you do that, at least it gives you a one-click method of seeing which threads have new posts.
