Well, my "reactionary" behaviour (as you call it) against religion comes from the tender, loving care I received at the hands of Roman Catholic "sisters" and "brothers" during my school years. That and the fact that after having grown up, I made use of what cognitive abilities I have and saw...

...er, Uberdoink, for a deeply scholarly and masterful dissection of religion try reading Christopher Hitchens book, "God is Not Great". (There's a clue in the title about Hitchens conclusions)

LMH has a compelling triangle encounter. Multiple witnesses

I also find a lot of her witness' stories compelling (the only reason I listen to her Earthfiles podcast) but I often wonder how on earth she finds these bewildered people. 'Tis a real pity she does find them as, like Schuyler said, she does like to repeat what the guest says and sprinkle it...

    1. And it came to pass that David, that is called Bi-ed-ny, did slew the garrulous Goliath from the wastelands of Marzulli. 2. And the children of the Caste that is Para didst witness this smiting in wonder and they didst crowd about him saying, "We liketh your style, O mighty David, but why...

    Have I become a jerk?

Spooky! I had the exact thing happen to me over the weekend, Mr Ron. My son's friend expressed an interest in UFOs so I sat forwards and smiled, but suddenly felt quite overwhelmed at the thought of giving the poor lad any sort of in-depth reply. I answered pretty much as you did and that was...

On the Origin Of Species by Means of Natural Selection.

For a glimpse of the hell of your scenario I suggest you read Cormac Mc Carthy's outstanding novel, The Road. (I believe a film of the book is due to be released this October, but I'd "recommend" the novel for the sake of Mr McCarthy's wonderful prose)

ROTFLMAO x 100 The Veritas Show is charging for episodes now

Unbelievable! Good luck, Mr Fabregas. Who the hell is going to pay for brisket when they can dine on free steak?

    Jenny Randles

While we're on the subject of the UK's Miss Jenny Randles I just wanted to share this link to an article she wrote for Magonia. Called, "Not the ETH", her article outlines her thoughts after a lifetime spent researching those damned UFOs. (I love the way she likens reality to the Periodic...

    Terrence McKenna & UFOs

I'd heartily recommend, as Jeff Ritzmann did on his recent Paratopia episode, the podcast lecture Terrence McKenna gave. It's available through iTunes at the Psychedelic Salon and his talk is simply called, "UFOs". It's a head-spinner!

Star Trek -- How Many Stars?

Yes, a thoroughly enjoyable film and quite unnerving watching it in nosebleed-inducing IMAX proportions. My only quibble was with Mr Scot's pet...a worrisome touch of the Jar-Jar Binks, me thinks. Maybe there'll be a transporter accident... :)

    May 3rd - Peter Robbins

Thanks, G&D. A fascinating show with an articulate, engaging researcher. I thought Mr Robbins and "mah fellow Paracasters" might be interested in this BBC link from 2003. It concerns the alleged confession of Kevin Conde who claims to have hoaxed the whole Bentwaters incident by...flashing his...

    April 12th Show

Oh, Christ. What a thing to wake up to on Sunday morning. Thanks for the charming fairytale pics, jpw. You know, I just love the way you God botherer's think you have the monopoly on good, moral behaviour. (BTW, you are a God botherer aren't you, or have I missed some hidden sarcastic point you...

    April 12th Show

Jeez, I'm guessing this show needed extra bandwidth to accomodate this guy's monstrous ego. Poor old partner Kris! Did you hear, towards the end, (when she finally got a word in edgeways), and she began to claim credit for discovering something or other, only to have Mr Me Me Me interupt her...

    Feb 22nd show

When it comes to tolerating members of the lunatic fringe with all their attendant "theories", Mr Dolan's grey basket sounds much roomier than mine will ever be. And was it mere playfulness or a passive/aggressive barb when he stated, towards the end of the show, "Oh, have I silenced the great...

    I got mugged

What a ghastly business. As if the incident itself wasn't bad enough, there's all the mental trauma to cope with afterwards. I hope the little creep won't inhibit your joie de vivre, Siani. I'm beaming good thoughts from Yorkshire.

We need a Knapp/Phillips Roundtable episode

From what I can remember, having read the "Skinwalker" book some time ago, didn't the phenomena display a sinister watchfulness and an ability to evade detection? Weren't objects moved around and/or destroyed in full view of remote cameras, whose footage showed nothing anomalous? And hasn't...

    Is this a Hoax?

Does anyone know how much money Santilli ended up making off this dreadful hoax? Did anybody prosecute him?

    Interesting article from UK

Regarding this incident, the "charming" Kay Burley on this lunchtime's Sky news stated, "UFO fanatics are intrigued by this." So there you go, my fellow Paracasters. We're all fanatics. And I thought it was just the Muslims getting it in the neck.
