    Unexplained "thing" in photo. Guesses?

It looks like a little bit of airborne debris to me, possibly vegetation. I've often had such things in my images.

    Tall Being Photographed

The so-called being looks like a large, inflatable figure. As for the 'craft' - could be anything from garbage to a tree-house. Some people see what they want to see, and this could well be an example of self-deception, if not a deliberate hoax.

    Festively Lit Chopper

Looks like a police helicopter to me. The one that flies over my house most nights is lit up like a Christmas tree, too. It usually has red, green and white lights, including one dangling from its undercarriage, as well as a bright searchlight on the front. It always spooks me, even though I...

Britain's most celebrated UFO sighting was a "lorry full of fertiliser"

How exactly does one tow a burning truckload of fertiliser through a forest without setting fires along its route? And what about this? Some of the airmen from the base thought it was a multi-coloured cross from out of space, and with the truck tyres popping they were getting a bit edgy. They...

There was a thread here a while back on this subject, which you may find helpful: https://www.theparacast.com/forum/ufo-books-t4539.html

    Project Camelot vs. Jeff Rense

I'm afraid I've no time for either of these warring parties. Rense gives free rein to racists on his site, and the Project Camelot crowd (Project Crapalot, more like) are just a joke. Seems to me like a case of the proverbial pot calling the kettle ...

    Amazing Underground Temples in Italy

Wow. It's great to know that creativity on such a grand scale still exists. Absolutely amazing.

    Great ufo research site

I've had a quick look around, and unless I'm missing something, I'm afraid I don't find it especially extensive. Perhaps I'm just too picky :). I enjoy an occasional browse around UFO Evidence. It has a lot of useful info on it, and has a fairly well-organized interface.

A spider dangling off the end of a cobweb, close to the lens?

Is the Loch Ness monster on Google Earth?

I see two objects, one on the right hand side of the image, which is clearly a boat. I also see something on the left hand side - a long, squiggly thing, which appears to be underwater, but which is probably the wake of something small, like a jet ski, zipping along the surface.

UFOs: How would you convince someone in one sentence?

As Pixelsmith said, UFOs are merely unidentified flying objects. I'd have no problem convincing anyone, in one sentence, that thousands of people see something in the sky that they cannot identify, in any given year. There is no way I could come up with a single sentence to convince anyone that...

Why do we still demand that....

I have to say, it's mostly from women that I get this reaction. Not sure why. Any thoughts, anyone?

Why do we still demand that....

I think women who choose to be childless get a tougher time than men. When I meet people for the first time, and they realize I have no kids, the first thing I get is pitying looks, as they assume I'm childless due to medical issues. Then, when they realize I chose not to reproduce, they become...

Gene Steinberg - Please stop laughing

Oh, FFS. Here we go again. Same scenario, different username - troll arrives on site to stir, annoy, etc, by posting a criticism of the hosts and/or the show, then accuses dissenting forum members of being blind to the truth, etc, la la la la la. This is getting old - in fact, it was old months...

Gene Steinberg - Please stop laughing

You're lucky that's all you have to worry about. Great way to introduce yourself on the forum. Dissing one of the forum owners - that's so clever. Not.

Very frustrated with being able to C&P from Word

Gareth, I've not updated to the latest version yet. I've tried disabling all add-ons, yet within about 20 minutes of use, Firefox swallows up more than 330,000 kb of RAM. It freezes up my whole system. I know several other people who have stopped using it for the same reason. I have no such...

Very frustrated with being able to C&P from Word

I discovered the horrors of copying and pasting from Word a long time ago, in the days before blogging platforms or browsers had spellcheck functions. Sadly, recent versions of Firefox have been disappointing - too much bloat, and the browser's a voracious resource hog, too. Safari is a much...
