Compelling video of sizeable object over MO

I seem to have a vague memory of this being explained as a bush fire on a nearby hill though I cant remember from where. It certainly has that appearance.

forgive the pseudo moderation, but this has been dissected (and probably solved) in this thread : Interesting article from UK - The Paracast Community Forums

    Interesting article from UK

One of those 'fanatics' (!) Jenny Randles posted that she suspects the main sighting to that of our beloved friend Venus, which is particualry prominent in the sky at the moment. She also informed the mailing list that that the missing blade is not actually missing, but undergoing tests in...

    Interesting article from UK

Jenny Randles on another forum I frequent suggests that this may have something to do with the near by Donna Rook Ministry of Defence testing range which has previously been the source of alleged UFOs. If they are I'm quite sure they'll be happy to let the UFO story run for as long a possible...

    Interesting article from UK

http://www.louthleader.co.uk/news/UPDATE-PLUS-VIDEO-FOOTAGE-Tentacle.4847433.jp You can see at the bottom of this link other turbines that have had similar 'accidents' . Looking at the weather for the time , it was unusual cold but not particularly windy. Could it be that one of the propellers...

    New Year's Photograph from Borneo

I similarly used to do quite a bit of astrophotography and to me it looks like airplane in the distance, especially with the equal spacing of the lights. Its never a waste of time to stretch your grey matter and consider various solutions even if it is a 'mundane' explanation.

    Paul Stonehill

There is a good article on this incident in the latest Fortean Times by Svetlund Osadchuk and Kevin O'Flynn that attempts to cover explanation from the bizarre to the mundane, creepy stuff indeed!

    Caught an interesting show today.

Out of curiosity Tommy which parts did you have a problem with ? The opening titles certainly set my teeth on edge, but I must admit I was pleasantly surprised ( not so much on the 'Fayettville incident' (I forgot the spelling), I'm not a great believer in 'hypnosis' as a method of recovering...

    Caught an interesting show today.

This program is the 'worst' out of three I have watched, the others being 'Mass sightings in Mexico' and 'The Bucks county Flap'. This is how UFO hunter should have been. I certainly have reservation about some of the techniques for 'scientific investigation' used (especially showing the witness...

    Abject Stupidity.

I cant believe you would want to ignore someone that put their point of view so eloquently and managed to respond without resorting to any offensive or inflammatory statements (as well a healthy dose of humour). A strange world indeed!

Moon anomalies: These three are compelling

For an interesting discussion on TLP : http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/science/frontiers_20081103.shtml And click on the listen again feature, hopefully it will be er.. illuminating! A slightly more sober look at the phenomenon with some interesting ideas.

Mystery lights over UK (19th dec)

This part is most interesting, although I think we can probably say that there is an earthly origin for the lights, the description the witness gives (honestly we must assume), seems to show the fallibility of human perception when confronted with 'unknown' objects in a dark sky. The speed...

    Your Most Annoying Conspiracy Theories?

Hmm I suppose the one conspiracy theory that is most abhorrent to me is the whole 'holocaust denial' ones e.g. David Irving and his ilk. But most annoying? probably the crash retrieval conspiracies, I just find the whole 'evidence' a bit lacking but some people are just making too much money...

UFO experiences-is it a gender thing?

I would have just been glad to know you actually had read some books! I maybe should have put a section about web activity, being an 'old' git it slipped my mind till after I had completed the project. I wonder if people get most of there information through this media now, or at least more so...

UFO experiences-is it a gender thing?

Thanks Shannon, although my study was way to small to draw any real conclusions, your right in saying that males tended to answer more positively to the question 'Intelligent alien life has visited the Earth' than female respondents. One of the sections of the survey had a section, to list...

UFO experiences-is it a gender thing?

I have just finished (actually I'm procrastinating here and am almost finished) a small scale survey of attitudes to the 'paranormal'. Please note that I used adapted Paranormal belief scale that I'm not entirely happy with, that 'lumps' a range of beliefs together. The results were ,females had...

    Dec 7 Show

I thoroughly enjoyed the show, and agree with quite a bit of Jerome's analysis of the nature of UFOs. However I would not be so bold as to assert the statement that some Rader/ Visual cases must be extrateristial in origin. Human perception and memory ,even within the best cases, would not allow...
