Someone just proposed an interesting thought... I've been getting a lot of pressure to do my first proper art show only it's weird as I do mostly ink stuff. I'd likely show some acrylic just to be normal, but my ink stuff is far better in my opinion. I'm also broke so I'll likely do something...

Well, thanks! Yeah, one always must be wary, but that can lead to a variety of closed mindedness if one gets TOO wary I would imagine. I can see the "hustler" perspective, though to me I read more "passionate" into it. Now that being said, passion does not equate to correct either...

Thanks! Yeah, just on listening I wasn't really dismissive at all but then I read this thread and could see some people's points to a degree. I think his heart was in the right place though.

I feel that the question was open enough that I could easily answer yes.

I can see how the guy seems hard to take... at the same time, he came across as overly excited about the material combined with obviously never having heard the show. I think some of what may have come across as being rude was more him not realizing some of the humour and for lack of a better...

While I see what you are saying, and I think the positive should be focused on mainly, I think it would be wrong to NOT include a segment or two of someone being called out on BS. It is a really identifying part of what makes the Paracast unique to most other shows.

The most newsworthy thing in this thread, in my opinion, is the goofy coincidence that someone named Nick wrote in to say how much he enjoyed listening to the recent interview with Nick. Heh, made me chuckle. :p
