it does make sense if you consider it from a far-out perspective. how do you divine another race's intentions towards you without putting yourself in the hangman's noose and seeing if they pull the lever?
drop something that is alien (but not 'live') into their territory and see what they...
nope, trust me. I don't mind masking the flavour of any alcohol ;).
tequila makes me think of margaritas, which is probably the only way I have ever had tequila. not much of a 'straight up' kind of drinker. don't even like my wine without something in it.
my condolences, Klar. If you are open to them, I believe we all get some sort of message from those who go before us.
and welcome to the forum, it may be exactly what you need at this point in your life.
If memory serves me, there is a telescope out quite a distance and it is supposed to be aimed in one direction for something like 3 years.
As always, if anyone has more accurate or in-depth info on this one, ie its launch date (I think it was a while ago) or where it is aimed, please feel free...
yep, and if I had actually thought about it before shooting my fingers off, I would have checked my facts, first, too.
I knew darn well there was a side we never saw, so assumed it didn't ever face the Sun. fool me, smart you! thanks for the lesson. :)
ummm, the same side of the moon is always away from Earth, and in the dark. great thought, but no rotation to make it work. but they could do an observatory and place it on that side, which would do, as you said, awesome shots.;)
trolling, trolling, over the winding main... intriguing thought, but if they were cannibalistic, then it is likely they would be a lot more aggressive towards humans, non? ;)
found it through iTunes because of Mysterious Universe... very different in their approaches to these subjects, one is like Tom Snyder and the other like Craig Ferguson.
both delicious.
not to denigrate the shot and its importance to our guys over there, but the wires posting his name and such online where any sympathizer can suss him out? c'mon.
