I thoroughly enjoyed the show, Gene and Chris! Any episode with Richard Dolan is a good one in my book.

I don't really know ton of background on Andrews but hearing him interviewed made me interested in a subject I previously wasn't especially drawn towards- and I just found him engaging in general. I think he'd be fine as a solo guest with just Gene and Christopher, but sure, a pro/con episode...

Since crop circles have been mentioned, I am, at the risk of being tiresome, going to mention yet again that I'd really like to see Colin Andrews be a Paracast guest.

Gene (and Chris)- since crop circles have been brought up... have you ever considered having Colin Andrews on? I think it'd make for a very interesting episode and some lively discussion on the forums.

Great show, Gene and Chris! I don't agree with Mr Clark's take on everything, but I definitely found him an intelligent and thought-provoking guest. I thought the questions asked and the way both hosts guided the discussion made for a very compelling episode.

I agree. It's a good thing to ask tough questions, but when a show turns in one big skirmish with the guest, frankly, it just bores me. I like a show that asks good questions and assumes its audience is capable of evaluating the guest's credibility for themselves.

I'll bet if you thought REALLY REALLY REALLY hard you could maybe think of a few bits of history we all take for granted that are not supported by such things, but rather by people's accounts.

Tracy Torme (and kudos in general) I really liked it too. Top-notch interview. I just added the first two seasons of Sliders to my Netflix queue.

Great post. I don't really understand who so many people feel the need to have some kind of label (and place such labels on others) as "sceptic" or "believer" or anything. I mean, some of thses events we discuss truly do seem compelling and inexplicable, and some seem totally mundane and...

If only there were some way to make an iPod play more rapidly through the commercials. :rolleyes: I like the one that tells me that my water is "burning holes in my body" and giving me cancer. Oh, and there was another good one, the martial law one, with the big scary magaphone voice saying...

You've touched upon a peeve of mine regarding some attitudes on this forum. Look, I'm all for scientific, rational exploration of what we call the "paranormal", as well as the UFO question. But you can't sepnd every minute of every episode yelling "But... THE PROOF! Can you privide EVIDENCE?!"...

He's also able to engage in polite, reasonable debate when people question him or disagree with his conclusions, a trait I really respect. And yeah, he's just plain fun to listen to.

This is welcome news- Dolan is one of my favorite guests! I'm going to start volume 2 as soon as I make it through the monster that is volume 1. And Paul, I think you did a really good job as a co-host. Sorry to hear it's ending, and I hope to hear you again as a guest on the Paracast or...
