    Listener Round Table

Except I'm not a supporter of AGM. I think there's something to UFOs too, but I don't use Billy Meier or the Galactic Federation of Light as a source.

The Heartland Institute, a conservative think tank, is probably not the best source to cite. There are good ones, but Heartland has a bias.

    Listener Round Table

I do know we don't live on Venus and temperatures rose in the 90s but leveled off in the last decade. I read a lot about science, mostly astronomy, so I see conflicting theory and disagreement all the time. I see the same in climate science and I have seen a lot of fear mongering on the AGW...

    Listener Round Table

Nice job on your roundtable boys. Caught most of it, very good work. I'd like to see a source for this. I'm highly skeptical of AGW, but this seems a little off in the other direction.

You don't exist in an infinite number of places, say scientists

Mark Oliver Everett, singer of the band EELS, on his quest to get to know his late father, quantum physicist Hugh Everett III, who invented the Many Worlds theory. It's a good documentary, highly recommend . . . . although I'm pretty dubious on the theory.

The culture surrounding something versus the thing itself.

It doesn't matter the subject, the time or the place . . . .

    Unmasked

I remember my time at Kent very fondly. It was a good college town.

    Unmasked

You're a little younger than me. I went from 80-84. I had a blast there. I'm sure it was much cheaper then. My first semester was $600 for a full slate. I checked the rates last year and it was like $4500. Ouch!

You went to Kent State? So did I! :)

Famous Belgian UFO Photo A Fake

I could be wrong . . . you know how unreliable witnesses are . . . but the hoaxers still had the model and proudly showed it off as proof of the hoax. When it's not whole myth with UFOs, it's exaggeration and embellishment . . . not terribly unlike the American Old West. Lots of myth and tall...

Famous Belgian UFO Photo A Fake

I don't see too much work there . . . . just a slam piece on SOBEPS. Whether it's deserved or not . . . . who cares really? I notice De Brouwer's name never comes up in Hallet's piece. Q: First, could the object have been a radiosonde balloon? De Brouwer: "No, the object acted as if it was...

Famous Belgian UFO Photo A Fake

The provenance of the picture was always in doubt largely because it never came out until a couple or more years after the incident. Because the picture is just a model that is apparently a pretty decent representation of what was witnessed, doesn't hurt this well documented case.

It's about damn time we got something together that can actually put men and women into space again.

Ex-Norad Officer calls in to c2c with George Knapp

If the guy did what he said in NORAD he can certainly back that up with Knapp as Knapp invited him to do. Just one point about mistakes in historical accounts . . . . they happen and I've read enough oral histories where the folks being interviewed did make mistakes in recall regarding things...

Ex-Norad Officer calls in to c2c with George Knapp

It was a bad mistake to make one way or the other, either a memory mistake if the story is legit or a research mistake if it's just a fake story. In fairness to the possibility it's a legit account with a factual error, the F-4 was a stalwart, widely-used jet for a great many years and they did...

Ex-Norad Officer calls in to c2c with George Knapp

Good catch. Will do some additional checking around.

    F For Fake full movie

One of his early show biz gigs was as a magician. The section where he talks at length about War Of The Worlds is pretty cool.

This is a really terrific movie. I highly recommend it. ;)

Ex-Norad Officer calls in to c2c with George Knapp

Nice tip. Very interesting listen. It's been 15 years plus already. This sort of thing gets skeptics in an uproar, but anyone with a knowledge of any type of history knows full well that it often takes many years for the full story to come out.

The Perfect Balance...The Lance Moody Interview

During the time I had some role in solving the Socorro case, Stanford jumped back into it. Why not? He wrote an entire book about it, right? He was built up as some kind of top level researcher so I listened. Frankly, in writing and interviews he came across as seriously lacking. His insults...
