    Anybody know what this is?

I remember seeing Schratt on a UFO show a couple of years back. Best I can remember, he based his reproductions on an account given to him by an Air Force vet who said he saw such aircraft in a hanger. ---------- Post added at 10:59 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:23 AM ---------- BTW...

Have you heard any of them taking off? I wonder if they're noticeably quieter then.

    Hubble Telescope Discovers UFO

Sorry, I was referring to the object that was spotted earlier this year. This is the one that some people speculated was a piece of space junk.

    Invasion of the Giant Squids

Humboldts are extremely aggressive and dangerous. I've seen several shows on them in the past couple of years and was amazed at how vicious they are. One diver doing the photography had a special suit designed that was basically a Star Wars Imperial Stormtrooper's armor.

    Is the Space Program Dying?

Yes it's dying, if not dead. We've lost our vision as a nation to achieve great things. From what I have seen in the schools, exploration is taught as thing of the past. We're going to have to look to private industry or China or India to keep moving forward.

    Lightning and Dogs

I've been told that dogs can sense static charges building up. Some dogs react negatively to it and that's one reason they freak out when a thunderstorm approaches. Some people rub dryer sheets on their dog to dissipate the charge, helping keep the dog calm. My girlfriend's dog is like Doppler...

Any thoughts on what this picture is?

Interesting they noticed it rising from the ocean and that this one was not the only one seen. Anyone ever heard of sub launched missile tests in that area? If they were missiles, I have never heard of multiple ones being fired in a test.

How'd you like to put one of these on top of Tikaboo Peak? How'd you like to haul it up there? Like someone posted in the comments, I wonder if you can get one at B&H. :D

    Interview with David M. Rountree

I'm only about halfway through this episode, but it's been great so far. VERY nice to hear someone in this field doing some real research, with good equipment and he seemingly knows what he is talking about.
