It just had to be Brazilian. :P (ok, dammit, It made me choke. Coffee all over my keyboard. And I'm at work, haha)

Steven Greer Captures ET in Photograph!! Disclosure IMMINENT!!

Have you guys ever considered that Mr. Greer might REALLY be a comedian? I mean, even more unbelievable than his claims is the idea that he actually takes himself seriously. It would be just genius if all this time everything he's done was just a long practical joke on both the believers who...

Who Should Co-Host The Paracast With Gene?

I added Bill Birnes as a friend on Facebook. He accepted. I lol'd. (on a brighter note, Mr. Ecker has my vote, though I understand he's committed to his own radio work. It's more of a sympathy vote) Note... vote... it rhymes!

    Butch Witkowski/ Human Mutilations.

Thank you, Chris. I was really near that case when it happened, not because I knew mr. Correia or anything, but because I used to spend a large amount of time in Estância Velha every week. My girlfriend at the time was the daughter of Estância Velha's Lutheran minister, who was himself a...

    Butch Witkowski/ Human Mutilations.

Hey there everyone. That was a very interesting episode, and this is one of the best threads in the last few months, and I don't have a good explanation for the fact that I don't post in the forums more often. Also, the contributions of mr. Ecker and Mr. O'Brien were straight to the point and...

Well, many of them. Notably the most far-fetched. There's people thinking that the airplanes that collided with the WTC were holograms. There's people who are pretty sure that the Bush family are a bunch of reptilian aliens. Or that microprocessors and fiber optics came from outer space. There's...

    What was your first computer?

MSX was huge in Brazil too. Sweet old memories of those.

    Conspiracy skeptic Aug 30

I posted this one on the "guest suggestion" thread, when someone posted something about 9-11. I apologize. This is the thread where it shoud be posted. So here I go: I'm not familiar with all the conspiracy theories on 9-11, but I find quite interesting to see that conspiracy theories are...

OK, this is a little off-topic. Anyway. I'm not familiar with all the conspiracy theories on 9-11, but I find quite interesting to see that conspiracy theories are mostly an American cultural phenomenon. And guys, I don't want to make any judgements here as for the truth behind conspiracy...

    What was your first computer?

Then there was the MSX-compatible Sharp HotBit. I didn't really own one of those, but all my friends did. My school used to have a few, too. I still remember the ads: David, I know you're fluent in Spanish since you lived in South America for a while, but how good is your Portuguese, if...

    What was your first computer?

My first computer was a Microdigital TK-83, the Brazilian clone to the ZX-81 computer. It had a 2 KB RAM memory. No problem, you can expand it to a full-64K with an expansion cartridge! I still have it. And it works perfectly. ::)

I'd llike to hear Brazilian UFOlogist and publisher AJ Gevaerd (who bears an uncanny resemblance to Family Guy's Peter Griffin :D). I know he's been on the Paracast before, and I have mixed opinions about his work. But the Brazilian ufolore is so vast, and is so rarely seen or heard in the...

BEST EVER, up-close pictures of cigar and disc shaped and craft. Hoax or true ?

And I don't know about the one depicting pyramids in the jungle. I guess I have read something, maybe last year or so, about scientists finding ruins of a lost city in the depths of the Amazon forest. I'm really not sure. It might be photoshopped as well. But pyramids are common in cultures...

BEST EVER, up-close pictures of cigar and disc shaped and craft. Hoax or true ?

I can't read a word in Russian, but I think it's safe to say that these pics are either photoshopped (and some of them are really lousy in that sense) or just pictures where actually nothing extraordinary is seen. The match between the pyramids of Giza and the three stars in Orion's belt, for...

    Your Favorite Show Moments

David: "I'm looking up here, Bill, and there's nothing about you on the NYT database" David (imp. Bill Knell): "Oh oh, yeah, isn't that strange?" David: "No! It's f*cked up! Die! Die, you *sshole!!!" Gene: "David, calm down" :D

August 9th Show - Ecker and the hosts

Schuler, Schyler, Schiller, Schueller, Schüler. I guess it's one of those names that, back in the day, immigration officers had a problem with. My family came to Brazil in the early 1800s as well, and even within my closer relatives the spelling of the name has three different variations As for...

August 9th Show - Ecker and the hosts

Oh, and I: I - Truly believe I should participate in the forums more often, since I listen to the show every week and there seems to be lots of interesting people here; II - Agree with someone who said there's great potential for confusion between my screen name and Schuyler's (although...

August 9th Show - Ecker and the hosts

I just finished listening to it, and I must say it was one of the best Paracast episodes since the Big Bang. It's top notch, just like the Bill "Buy my Puppies" Knell day (which was a glorious example of how to rub someone's face in the very sh*t they've made). Way to go Gene, David and mr. Ecker.

    June 7, 2009 - Greg Bishop

Lol, I didn't realize the similarity until it was too late. Can I change my screen name? If I change it to my first name it's sure to disambiguate. unless there's some other Fabiano around, hahaha. Just finished listening to Greg Bishop's episode. Way to go, Gene and Dave. It really got you...

Hey there. Kinda new to the forums so hello everyone. I have no complaints about the audio quality. The voices of Gene and Dave sound very clear - and if the guest doesn't have exactly a professional radio studio in their home, that's not the hosts' fault. :P
