    From Christopher O'Brien

I rarely post here, but I'd just like to say how much I appreciated Chris's long and deep contribution to the show. I hope Chris features as an occasional guest, and particularly to let us know of his progress in the San Luis Valley project. Many listeners maybe don't appreciate that a two-hour...

March 18, 2018 — Rick Doty with J. Randall Murphy

I know it was only a small part of this show, but can anyone point me to any technical detail of the signals Bennewitz is supposed to have detected? If he was competent to use (and build?) such equipment why did he conclude it was alien? Is there any evidence it came from the base? What...

    Surveillance cam captures....

The problem is many videos are just made as click bait for various (well known!) sites. We know that if it's looks too good to be true, then it probably is. That's why obtaining multiple recordings of the same object from different locations is important. But that's no guarantee of...

    Surveillance cam captures....

The video in post #2 was part of an extensive (and rather clever) advertising campaign for The Eden Project from July 2017. Jeez! These guys need learn how to do basic research. What other cr*p are they peddling on their site...?

    UFO detector network?

Thanks Drobnjak for your thoughtful reply and the document links. I will look at them to see more detail of how, when and where the various EM and gravitational signatures have been evaluated. Passive radar is indeed an interesting avenue, but as you say, separating out and processing all the...

    UFO detector network?

Chris also has a project in the San Luis Valley. I believe it uses (or will use) a range of systems, but it only covers one geographic area. Nevertheless, that might be enough to pin down some aspects of the phenomenon - I sure hope so!

    UFO detector network?

Yes, the passive radar idea also has much mileage in it. But do UFOs always reflect radio signals? Passive radar has been used extensively in recent wars and has some advantages over conventional radar. I've used it with my own transmitting equipment (3.5 MHz to 29 MHz) in conjunction with a...

    UFO detector network?

It appears MUFON have had some dealings with UFO detection as far back as 1973 according to documents on the NICAP.org website. http://www.nicap.org/madar/letters..pdf

    UFO detector network?

This subject has been briefly discussed on this forum before, but I have an old pamphlet published by Ray Stanford scanned and posted below, and I'd like to bring the subject up for discussion again. This forum and the Paracast has links with Ray. It also has some experienced and very informed...

August 20, 2017 — David Booher with Jerome Clark

Well, if Booher was inexperienced as a radio guest, he did quite well. As you say, he did appear to have information to hand, but it was heavy going. Maybe we're being spoilt by the experience and delivery of most other guests.

Portland (Oreg), Seatle, Chicago - any werd stuff?

Thanks. Found great spot on hill near little town of scot mills. Fantastic 1' 40" totality. Unforgettable as those who experienced it will know. Now on Amtrak train to Seattle...

Portland (Oreg), Seatle, Chicago - any werd stuff?

Going for a fortnight to the US starting 18 August to 2 September. Hope to see the eclipse on 21 Aug somewhere between Salem and Madras in Oregon if we don't get stuck in traffic along with hundreds of thousands of others with the same idea... Anyway, we'll be in Portland, Seatle and then an...

Nato radar/radio dish - ideas sought

That's going to be a remarkable project! Before you start pondering and UFO uses, can you supply some details? Do you or any of your team have experience in this field of electronics or communications? Can you be more specific about the diameter of the dish? (Seems like a 10 metre dish - a very...

    November 6, 2016 — Michael Esposito

Well, I've ploughed through the whole podcast. Some observations: Why no explanation of the equipment he used? Sounds like he just uses the microphone method, but using what mics and recorders? What few voices I could make out had some echoey quality, strongly suggesting they were real voices...

I'd be glad to. May need a prompt though as I'm not always reading the forum.

EVP/ITC embraces my electronics/radio background and paranormal interests so I've been interested for decades - ever since I read Breakthrough and built the Raudive EVP circuit, which of course only picked up strong AM signals because it's just a simple un-tuned crystal set! All experiments...

    November 6, 2016 — Michael Esposito

Interesting show, but I'm only half-way through. But so far I'm very disappointed that, yet again, the English EVPs are pre-empted with what we are supposed to hear! No, NO! For years part of my job was to listen to weak speech radio signals to get various IDs. When there's one I couldn't...

Yet Another Failed Prediction from Bassett?

How about you cut the c**p and just get to the point - so that all of us who are hard of thinking can get something out of your pages of ramblings. Otherwise you really are wasting your time. Whoever owns it or wherever it comes from...

    Other podcasts.

I had a listen to a couple of Jim Harold's 'The Paranormal Podcast. He's a pretty light-weight interviewer. He was interviewing someone claiming some underground caves have voices inciting people further in. On one occasion he had some sort of video crew with him who heard the vices. Did Jim...
