    Tokyo Sighting

A friend of mine recently snapped this photo with his iPhone and it was picked up by a major newspaper in Tokyo. Apparently the object was seen by multiple witnesses. The translation sent was near gibberish so if anyone knows Japanese, perhaps they can better translate for anyone interested.

    CIA and UFOs

I thought the "I told you so" enthusiasm as well as the glibness of the tweet an odd tone for the CIA to take. What about the presumably 50% of sightings that do not involve objects at 60,000 feet . The whole thing is odd.

    CIA and UFOs

http://www.newsweek.com/cia-behind-ufo-sightings-1950s-and-1960s-295939 Has anyone seen this story posted by various news agencies or has anyone read the actual report? Strange that the CIA chose to tweet this now. Why now, why via tweet?

    Aliens on the Moon?

Maybe, maybe not. But the video is done well. Thank you for sharing it. "Aliens on the Moon" would be a good name for a band.

    Aliens on the Moon?

Agreed that finding MH370 is of utmost importance. As for drones, if they were that effective perhaps MH370 would have been found by now.

    Aliens on the Moon?

I've heard NASA doctored pics. I file under "truth unknown," however, if something extraordinary were found there would be every reason to hide it and very little reason to reveal it. Which is why everything ufo-related is a huge question mark and will continue to remain so IMHO. As to why the...

    Aliens on the Moon?

I'd posted this so long ago I'd forgotten about it but I'm glad you picked up on it and found of interest. There's lots of stuff online about lunar anomalies but, like with most everything, you have to pick and choose what seems credible. Sometimes I think what seems to be a great interest in...

    Your Paracast Newsletter -- March 31, 2012

Thanks for the recommendations. To get hold of some of these older books I've joined our local library. First time I've had a library card in many years. Made me feel like a little kid again.

    Your Paracast Newsletter -- March 31, 2012

Always enjoy the newsletter. Was wondering if at some point you and Chris could post a "must read" list of maybe the top 10 books on ufos you would recommend to listeners. Since I started listening, I've read Vallee's books, Leslie Keane's, Bernard Haisch (not really on the subject, but loved...

    Phoenix Flash

I saw the same video posted on the earthlink news. That's what prompted me to post. I never found out what caused the flash I saw in Atlanta. I was a passenger in the car and the driver didn't see it perhaps because he was busy driving. I hate to say how long ago this was - sometime in the...

    Phoenix Flash

Did anyone read about or see the mysterious bright flash caught by a early morning news camera in Phoenix? It reminded me of a similar phenom I observed many years ago, also very early in the morning, coming into Atlanta after driving all night. We were on the main interstate, that comes into...

    Aliens on the Moon?

The Archaeology News Network just posted a story about real scientists discussing the search for evidence of past alien presence on the moon. I tried to copy the URL for the story to post here w/o success. The proposal is to initiate something like the SETI project where people can sign up to...

'Nazca Lines' discovered in the Middle East

For those who are interested here is a link to an article with photos of the glyphs discovered throughout the mideast. Curious. The Archaeology News Network: Thousands of 'geoglyphs' found in Middle East

NASA to announce discovery of 'intriguing planetary system'

Along these lines are two links to articles in yesterday's NY Times that I thought might interest forum participants: The first deals with "2012-ers" in France, something I was surprised to see the Times reporting on at all, and the second re NASA's Kepler project. They are both from...

    Gary McKinnon

This may be tangentially related to the wikileaks thread. It concerns the case of hacker Gary McKinnon who has become something of a folk hero in the UK according to this article. I've been getting a lot of links via a friend who knows I'm interested in this stuff that he finds in more...

    NASA News Conference

A friend sent the following link re an upcoming NASA news conference on Dec. 2. I didn't check into it past this link, so true or not, can't say. Thought forum members might find of interest and decide for themselves. DakkaDakka - Warhammer 40K Forums - NASA's announcement....

    NY Times Article

Au contraire, many folks read the letters. NYTimes fans pretty much give at least a cursory glance esp. w/respect to letters on topics they follow. My yoga teacher has written letters that have gotten published as have I. I would urge Mr. O'Brien to give it a shot. He has nothing to lose by...
