I would agree with you, thats why I think most of this phenomena originates from the human mind and would explain such nonsensical things. That doesn't make it any less fascinating though, it's still a mystery to be solved and worthy of study. IMO of course.

Interesting, very interesting. This was one of my favorite cases and in a way it would be a shame if this was an elaborate hoax, but at least we would know the truth about what really happened. Need more details, to put this to rest.

With regards to your sighting last friday, I would bet that you saw the ISS. Most people would be shocked to know that it is the brightest object in the sky, beside the sun and moon, and can be quite alarming to see if you are not familair with what it is. It suprised me the first time I saw it...

I dont know if thats our culprit or not, but sweet FSM did you see all those "orbs" in the second picture, must be that fishes dead family members coming to check up on him.

While that is all mostly true, there are many people who do whole sky astronomy. Meteor astronomy would be one example, also amatuer star parties have dozens to hundreds of people attending who are all "looking up" at different parts of the sky, yet I have never heard of a really good ufo...
