Gene recorded the interview with Preston Dennett and Geneva last week, but he was not feeling well, so he may not have been able to edit the program for broadcast. He is now back in the ICU with pneumonia. He is trying hard to get the program back on the air, but has been having a rough rehab journey. Listeners' patience and support is appreciated.

Thanks for the update Tim. My best to Gene. I wasn't bitching just wanted to know what was happening.
Get well soon Gene.

Too bad no one can take over the editing for him as that's the really big task. I'm sure the files are enormous but maybe one of the friendly audio people here could take it one of the files could be fit into a dropbox and instructions were provided.
Well someone should be designated to take over when Gene is unwell or unable.
As Gene Steinberg I feel for him however as someone who has paid upfront for a lifetime membership to the business called the Paracast I feel cheated.
Love Gene but I have paid for something I am not receiving.

Perhaps, but think of it as a love offering. In my twilight years as a remodeling contractor, I offer lifetime warranties for materials and labor, and that warranty extends solely for my lifetime.

So, may I suggest you pour yourself a nice full pint of Guinness (perhaps two), and simply be thankful that Preston will not be joining us anytime too soon.

Point taken. However I repeat the statement I do not see the Paracast as Gene Steinberg I see the Paracast as a business.
The other thing is I see my demise in terms of months not years and would like to enjoy some of the things that make me happy before I Go.

I get your point, and like so many others around here, your health is in rapid decline. What makes you happy? Perhaps a direction of happiness can be found.

Wow — you and I are the same age, and I think of it as being way too soon for me to drop off. You can't just say something like that and expect nobody to wonder why.

And to follow up with Richard's concerns, I know that everyone is feeling bad for Gene and hope that he can get back in the saddle pretty soon. We all send our best hopes and wishes to him. I was wondering if it isn't possible to start re-broadcasting some of the earlier material. Some of those links are broken which is a real shame, as there's some exceptional material recorded in those opening seasons.

What are the chances, that in lieu of episodes that have been missed these past months, to possibly to throw up a series of older classic episodes on a regular basis. This would remind everyone of the enormous arc The Paracast has been charting. I also would really like to encourage the members active in the forum to engage in some meaningful discussion around those episodes. This show has really been a comprehensive look at the UFO phenomenon, as well as a great historical look at all things weird and paranormal.

Gene’s health is first and foremost. If it takes a year or whatever, so be it. In probably over doing it, he fought like hell to produce some episodes that were really good. IMHO, the Shaver/Palmer narratives are historically the best. I really like your idea of presenting some of the classics, including the good, the bad, and the ugly. As of late, I’ve been going over some of the older threads. Some are dramatic, others humorous, and still others intense. Wasn’t it Lenny Bruce who once suggested that melancholy is simply a mild state of depression?
