To me, the value of The Paracast has nothing to do with what it would sell for. IMO it's a priceless piece of cultural history that should be preserved and made freely available to everyone. That said, a person can't be blamed for wanting to get...

Randall replied to the thread Not Gradual Disclosure, But….
Science has become heavily politicized and used in concert with a compromised justice system to suppress civil liberties, particularly free speech — and for some things, when that doesn't work, they payoff "influencers" to help them keep a lid on...

The shows could probably be archived on Internet Archive: Digital Library of Free & Borrowable Texts, Movies, Music & Wayback Machine and maybe a couple other places. It all depends on what Gene wants to do.

Sure — I imagine some of that is the true in some cases, but I don't think it's safe to assume that it's all true in all cases. Even with something as familiar as our own species, every time I learn more, it just it makes me realize how little I...

I think they already have--in some cases for a long time--all the basic data, including the psychology of those chosen to be witnesses. As the aforementioned work argues, witnesses tend to be credible people. The idea is to help increase...

Maybe the "shows" have less to do with "conditioning" humans, and more to do with learning how we react to their presence, like testing our defenses by buzzing military bases. Maybe they have no "plan" at all and they're just following some...

Oh of course not. ET/UFO appearances have two other important objectives. The phenomenon is slowly familiarizing us with the reality and presence of alien visitors. But it doesn't want us to be certain of this yet. To prevent it, they...

Ya — it's fairly safe to assume that "objectives" are part of any intentional action by any half-ways intelligent species, and that in each and every case, some degree of study is required attain them. So maybe moving away from the more general...

Ya, remember when they started calling Noory — "Snorey" :p. That wasn't really fair — because apparently George was a really good guy. Yet the show was never the same without Bell doing his thing. It lost its flavor, and Gene has his own...

I really do not know how the Paracast can be the Paracast without Gene. It is like when Art Bell left coast to coast and George Noory took over. Totally different show. When you are well enough I will phone you and Barbara but I really will miss...

It seems reasonable enough to believe that familiarization is one real purpose — just not the only one, and not necessarily the one behind every incident. Besides — as soon as we ( in general ) start assuming that we have the answer, the...

I think they're advanced enough to know how we, or many specific individuals, would react. I've long thought that ETs select people who are credible and at the same time least likely to "freak out" when encountering UFOs and alien entities. The...

I doubt it. Even if they need samples they wouldn't have to reveal their presence, or make their ET nature obvious. Dubious. While they occasionally appear with technology as primitive as ours or more so, that's likely just a facade...

There is no easy way to put this, so I will just repost the email that Gene sent me: I’ve been to four hospitals and a rehab center. I’ve had multiple MRIs, CTScans, ultrasounds and blood tests. And a minor surgical procedure. I’m slowly...

I've always thought the numerous cases of little characters in white suits gathering soil samples and the use of medieval medical experiments as reported by abductees to be pure misdirection. Certainly any space fairing civilization could use...

I'm not so sure it's wise to draw such generalized conclusions. Maybe they ( whoever "they" are ), does need physical samples in order to perform their analysis. Maybe our biology is as alien to them as theirs is to us. Maybe some of our tech is...

I don't think their real purpose is study. Many cases make it appear that way but they're deceptive. The real purpose is gradual familiarization. If ET just wanted to study us he could do it without any of us even knowing he is here.
  • Randall
Randall replied to the thread UFO Abductions Updated!.
But wouldn't the result of a "gradual familiarization" program necessitate an ongoing analysis of our reaction to them in order to measure their progress? Looked at it that way, "Gradual Familiarization" is just the name of that particular study...

Personally — I remain skeptical in that it could be some sort of cover story. You might remember a similar thing happened with the Breakthrough Listen project when they identified a technological signal from Proxima. They made sure that it was...
