This Week's Episode: Gene and cohost Tim Swartz present another appearance from Keith Linder, who relates an extraordinary range of incredible paranormal experiences beginning in 2012. At the time, he and his girlfriend, Tina, moved into a house in the suburb of Seattle. The bizarre phenomena they witnessed would change their lives forever. The extreme ghostly activity started off when they heard what sounded to them like a child coughing. From there, things escalated quickly to strange noises, doors slamming, apparitions, things disappearing and dangerous fires. Objects would appear and disappear. One of the fires even burned a copy of the Bible. Keith eventually called in paranormal researcher Don Philips and British parapsychologist Steve Mera, who visited the house twice, spending several weeks and collecting extraordinary evidence. Keith is an IT professional for a popular IT company in Seattle, WA. He is author of the books "The Bothell Hell House: Poltergeist of Washington State," "Attachments: Poltergeist of Washington State Part 2," and "Poltergeist - The Night Side of Physics." After The Paracast — Available exclusively for Paracast+ subscribers on February 4: Incredible paranormal encounters lead the agenda as Keith Linder returns to talk with Gene and cohost Tim Swartz about the wide range of experiences that began for him in 2012, when he has his girlfriend moved to a suburban Seattle home. In a discussion about objects that mysteriously appear and disappear, both Gene and Tim also relate their personal experiences. The possible causes of Keith's experiences are discussed, including the presence of some sort of "trickster" element. Keith is an IT professional for a popular IT company in Seattle, WA. Originally from Austin TX, Keith moved to the Pacific Northwest to enhance his career and further his love for fishing, sports, football, basketball, the outdoors, and enjoy the wine country. His paranormal encounters caught the attention of the Travel Channels’ Ghost Adventures, which dedicated an entire installment to the “Demons in Seattle.” But ghost-hunter Zak Bagans and his crew didn’t find any paranormal evidence and declared it all a hoax. More recently, paranormal researcher Don Philips and British parapsychologist Steve Mera, who visited the house twice, spent several weeks and collecting extraordinary evidence.

Disclosure — A Fable
By Gene Steinberg

It must be something extremely important. One fine day, the White House press office announces that the Commander-in-Chief will deliver a major address that evening on a “very important issue.”

So begins the speculation: Cable TV news talking heads come up with speculation that’s all over the place. So maybe it’s an attack involving a rogue nation, or some new policy to boost the President’s chances in the next election.

Unlike previous announcements, there are no advance hints, or text summaries of what’s going to be said. When the press corps asks, all they get is an abrupt “no comment.”

So could it be an issue about the President’s health? Something involving the Vice President? Just what’s going on here?

Unlike most addresses by the President, this one begins on time, not a few seconds later. It’s happening in the oval office, with the President sitting at his desk with an indeterminate expression on his face.

I won’t attempt to present the exact words, but the meaning is clear. After a brief discussion about our place in the universe, and the age-old belief that outer space is inhabited by intelligent beings, the meaning becomes clear.

The President provides confirmation of what disclosure advocates have long hoped and dreamed about. Yes, UAPs — UFOs, flying saucers, whatever — are really spaceships sent here by an advanced race of beings from another part of the galaxy.

Despite rumors to the contrary, there has been no communication with our visitors. Our efforts to make contact have failed.

But this is not an “Independence Day” scenario. UAPs have been present in Earth’s skies for decades, perhaps centuries. There is no evidence that they are hostile, or even care about the fate of the human race.

Even though many have claimed physical or telepathic contact with aliens, there is no evidence that such communications have actually taken place. In short, if those claims represent genuine paranormal encounters, the are not the ones piloting UAPs.

Ditto for reports of possible abductions.

That irritating aspect of the mystery is thus sidestepped in a somewhat offhanded way.

But what about reports of crashed spaceships, such as Roswell? The long and short is that there have been some recoveries of spaceships. They are still being analyzed by scientists, but they are not prepared to provide any details.

As it stands, there is no evidence that they represent a threat to national security.

The President goes on to state that the evidence confirming the extraterrestrial nature of UAPs is being conveyed to other countries courtesy of the UN. Leaders from the energy industries, technology industries and the major religions have been contacted But there is, as yet, no worldwide policy of how to deal with ET’s presence.

More information will be released in the days to come, and the White House press office will be holding press availabilities to release further details. After the usual closing phrases, the announcement is over.

In another universe, you might have expected that headlines touting the admission that ET is among us would fill the newspapers. Cable and network newscasters would be bringing on so-called UFO experts to present their individual slants on what is going on.

To be sure, there will be plenty of conspiracy theories. Some pundits and podcasters will assert that they know ET is here to harm us and not help us. Some religious leaders will suggest that UAPs are demonic, that we’re are at the end days, and we must take steps to, with the Lord’s help, protect Earth.

The conspiracy theories will be rampant. Some will suggest that the President was not really elected legally, and what he says should therefore be ignored. It’s all about a political scheme to gain the upper hand in the next election. There is no ET; it’s all a Deep State plot to take control.

Over the next few days, the pros and cons continue unabated. But with very little additional information about ET visiting us, or even a significant increase in sightings, the story begins to fade. With nothing new to report, coverage begins to revert to something more normal, such as political controversies, the usual conflicts among people of different political parties, and the usual tribal conflicts around the world.

The endless cultural issues about minority rights, immigration, and so on and so forth, also help to dominate the discussion. Elections, the state of the economy, the usual postering in Congress, it’s all almost back to normal.

Our sci-fi culture has largely readied Earth’s population to accept the existence of inhabited worlds out there with relative equanimity. With news about exoplanets, possible Earth-like conditions, and our expanding space program, it almost seems as if nothing has changed.

The world, with all its flaws, climate change dangers, endless tribal conflicts and all the rest, are unchanged. Nothing is different.

It’s almost as if ET’s presence on our planet has made no difference whatever. Aren’t there more important things to worry about, such as the endless struggle to put food on the table, feed and clothe and educate children? What about outbreaks of crime in major cities?

At the same time, some of the more extreme religious leaders, those who believe the spawn of Satan is in our midst, are taking steps to protect our planet. They are holding secret meetings with one another to decide how best to handle the situation.

Authoritarian leaders of rogue nations are devising the means to exploit the situation. Perhaps they, too, possess evidence of alien technology and are seeking ways to build craft and weapons that are impervious to conventional weaponry.

The energy industries are striving to quietly suppress any evidence of advanced free energy technology. After all, they are in business to make money by selling consumable fuel products. If there was a powerful resource of renewable energy readily available, and there was no way to profitably exploit the technology, it would have to be suppressed.

With all this scrambling behind the scenes, nothing changes all that much.

The human race, flaws and all, remains on the brink. The existence of one or more advanced extraterrestrial races makes little or no difference to the world at large.

Over time, it no longer seems to matter. Yes, disclosure has occurred, but little has changed.

And soon the revelations about the true source of UAPs, except for a few zealots and convert government operatives, is largely forgotten.

In short, nothing will change.
