Questions for Kathleen Marden — A UFO Abduction Update!

It's been a while since we've devoted a full episode of The Paracast to the controversial subject of UFO abductions, so we've asked Kathleen Marden to join us for an episode to be taped on the afternoon of Thursday, June 18.

Kathleen Marden is a professional ufologist known around the world for her work as an alien abduction/ET contact researcher, author and lecturer. Her educational background in the social sciences has shaped her interest in scientific ufology. Extensive research and investigation into alien abduction has convinced her that abductions are not only real; they are being covered up by the government.

Her interest in UFOs dates back to September 20, 1961, when her aunt, Betty Hill phoned her nearby home to report that she and Barney had encountered a flying saucer in New Hampshire’s White Mountains.

She is associated with the Mutual UFO Network, as Director of Experiencer Research and the Foundation for Research into Extraterrestrial Encounters, as an advisory board member and consultant to its research subcommittee. She is the recipient of MUFON’s 2012 “Ufologist of the Year” award. She's also written three books covering UFOs and other subjects.

We could possibly settle the truth about this phenomenon once and for all would be if 3rd party researchers were present on site during an abduction and were able to record video and other data connected with the event. Is there any interest in such a research venture? If this has been tried before, what happened?

What are your conclusions about the Dr. Karla Turner affair? Did you find her and her family’s stories credible? Have you interviewed her surviving husband or son? If so what did you learn?

What evidence do you have that the government has any interest in alien abductions?

Are there any cases of abductions in which two or more people were involved and hypnosis was not used to recover their memories?

How do you ensure that when interviewing an abductee that they haven’t talked themselves into a false narrative based on sleep paralysis?

Are you aware of any cases in which an alleged abductee had never heard of alien abductions before?

Have you ever had what you believe is harassment or interference in your work by parties that presumably do not like what you are doing?

Intelligent aliens would know that if they were to convey some key piece of information to abductees—like the solution to a long-standing mathematical or scientific problem—that this would potentially generate much more serious interest in the topic of UFOs and increase openness to the topic being treated seriously. I’m going on the assumption that this has never happened. Is this correct?

You have spoken about Betty Hill “vectoring” in an alien spacecraft. And further, that tops of trees were sheared off and that some fragment from that was examined in a laboratory. Did anyone else see this? If so, is there any record of their testimony? What did that lab find out? Was Betty able to summon these craft ever again? How did she know how to do this?

Do you notice any increasing interest in the field of alien abductions among academics and scientists?

Is there even one example of physical evidence from an abduction that might cause an open-minded skeptic to reconsider?

Are you aware of any very prominent person who claims to be abducted but refuses to go public about it?

Are you aware of any eminent or prominent persons who think that alien abductions are real but nevertheless refuse to go public with this viewpoint for fear of damaging their reputation?

Could you talk about your own abduction? How do you answer skeptics who doubt your story?

Thank you Gene and Chris.

I'd be curious in knowing if Kathleen would be able to come up with a profile of whom is apt to susceptible to an abduction experience. Is there enough data to hypothesise a potential victim based on their jobs, race, gender, location, age? what about time of day, month or year?

On a similar note, in taking down the stories of people who have reported abductions what if any coincidences have you noted? Any repetition of names either of individuals or the locations they took place in? Is there anything you noted that you found curious or striking but didn't publish because you thought it might not be relevant ?

What is your take on Dr. Jacobs concept that the mantis insect types are in command of the other alien types?
Also, Dr. Jacobs concept that the hybrids are being trained to "infiltrate" human society. Have your investigations
found evidence to support these ideas ?

What are your thoughts about the Mass Abduction of 1992 case?
This is the case Dale Musser experienced and wrote about.

Tell her Waller said "Hi!"; ask her if the FREE reorganization was to her liking...or not. If so, why; if not, why.

It is my hopes, as a FREE contributor, as a ET and spirit researcher, that it has been released from its relatively sleepy existence to gain the potential, the promise, it has.

Have spoken to other searchers and researchers in the abduction area of UFOs, none have approached it from a shamanistic perspective. Have you ever spoke with native shamans about abductions and their view of it? (I always thought highly of Betty and Barney Hill and believed their experiences.)
