Politics & The CIC/Prez

Free episodes:

The country and media have gotten SO POLITICALLY correct it's ridiculous. Everyone walks on egg shells. Because the white community is scared to death that if they breathe the wrong way on a black person - that they'll suffer a life long wrath of being labeled a racist. Like when these black lives matters' women totally interrupted Bernie Sanders in Seattle and started screaming like two lunatics. Yet they just let them have at it. Are you kidding me? But everyone is scared to say anything.

Freddie Gray. Are we insane as a society? This wart on the ass of society has a criminal record from here to China. But they end up naming a community center after him to honor him?? ARE YOU SERIOUS? What message does that send to my 7 & 9 year olds? You can be a complete screw up and criminal but you can also get a new community center named after you? Here's his record by the way;

March 20, 2015: Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance
March 13, 2015: Malicious destruction of property, second-degree assault
January 20, 2015: Fourth-degree burglary, trespassing
January 14, 2015: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute
December 31, 2014: Possession of narcotics with intent to distribute
December 14, 2014: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance
August 31, 2014: Illegal gambling, trespassing
January 25, 2014: Possession of marijuana
September 28, 2013: Distribution of narcotics, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance, second-degree assault, second-degree escape
April 13, 2012: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance, violation of probation
July 16, 2008: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute
March 28, 2008: Unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance
March 14, 2008: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to manufacture and distribute
February 11, 2008: Unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance
August 29, 2007: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, violation of probation
August 28, 2007: Possession of marijuana
August 23, 2007: False statement to a peace officer, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance
July 16, 2007: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance (2 counts)

(and Freddie Gray is another reason the aliens don't land. They see his record and then see he's being honored with a community center. The aliens think we are an insane society)

Ahmed Mohamed. Builds a clock out of a clock (brilliant) that looks exactly like a bomb. Faculty does the right thing. But of course (based on the kids name) the tables get flipped and now the school & faculty are the jerk's. Wait, what? Why? The teacher did the right thing and reported it. Could you imagine if the teacher did nothing and then it turned out it was a bomb & went off and killed 100 kids? The teacher would have to say "well it looked super suspicious but because I was scared that I would get sued and be called a racist if it turned out not to be a bomb I didn't say anything." No. SEE SOMETHING - SAY SOMETHING. So not only does the situation get flipped on the school, the kid get's invited to THE WHITE HOUSE & M.I.T. Are you serious? I bet if my kid built a bike out of a bike she wouldn't get those offers. In fact, there is another story of a kid that made a project that utilized something that (if you had a vivid imagination) an item that could be perceived as dangerous and brought it to school - who got expelled. But her name was the equivalent of Jennifer Smith. So that's why there was no media outrage and invites to the White House.

And I'm sorry, but this business of "I'm Mexican and I'll flop on over the border for a day to give birth there so now my kid is an American has benefits until their 18" - has to go. What a crying shame that is. And I love Mexico. I go every year to Puerto Vallarta. Great people. But people are going to take advantage of stupid policy as long as it exists.

And I think the silent majority is sick of seeing & hearing these types of stories. They want common sense back. Where the perp is the perp and not the victim. Now will anything change under a Trump regime? Time will tell, but I think that's what a lot of frustrated American's are willing to bet on.

Two quick points:

The myth of loads of anchor babies is not supported by the evidence. Can you provide any statistics about how many people flop over the border to claim welfare benefits, and then leave? If they leave, there are no benefits.

Here's mine:

There Aren't Nearly as Many 'Anchor Babies' in the U.S. as Donald Trump Suggests

Ahmed Mohamed: If he was a white Christian, he could do the same thing and nobody would care.

Yes I know. Just the fact (whether the mom/baby stays in the U.S. or not) that they can flop on over, have the kid & now the U.S. taxpayer is responsible for that child is ridiculous. Can you imagine if say the U.S. was dirty poor & underdevloped but Iceland has these great rules/laws that if you are born there you get all these great benefits, and women waited until their 9 mos were about up and then landed in Iceland to have their kid? It's one thing if you are Icelandic and you end up taking advantage of their laws. But it's an entirely different thing when you have nothing to do with Iceland whatsoever but go there solely to give birth. I think after a while Iceland would be like "Alright. Slow down. We need to pump the brakes on this program and modify it's language. We are being taking advantage of."

And then just so I am clear, are you saying if Achmed Mohammed were white Texan that he could have turned in the same project and nothing would have happened? (as far as authorities being notified, arrested, suspended)

Read my link. You have the anchor baby matter wrong.

As to the other question: Yes if that boy was a white Texan he'd have no problem. It's a significant social issue in the U.S.

Personally, I despise the Democrats and the Republicans disgust me. I want Trump to win because of who all it will piss off. I'm already enjoying what it's doing to the Republican party establishment and their loyal pious followers; let the party burn. And I want to see the wanna be socialists of the Democrat party gnash their teeth and go ballistic. If Hillary wins, this country will continue to suck and get even worse. If Trump wins, we cannot predict exactly what will happen and I want to watch the abject paranoia that inspires in the extremes of left and right. There are a lot of loud mouth morons in America -- on BOTH sides -- and I long for a third way because this lib vs conservative crap is getting old and is seriously corrupted. All who are feeling pain and angst over Trump, on both sides, GOOD. More of it to you! Both the dedicated Libs and Conservatives have become the biggest a-holes in this country and the rest of us are tired of it. :)

Trump gets the most publicity, but there is scattered coverage of Sanders, and Clinton is somewhere between the two. But this is why Trump has had to invest very little money in campaigning, maybe a few million.

The US political system is so corrupt that the only way to fix things is with a clean slate. Burn it all to the ground. Do you remember the global financial crisis in 2008? For most this is old history. The total sum of people jailed for this meltdown? One. The total amount of traders and bankers receiving a bonus of $1 million at Goldman Sachs for that year? 953.

As long as corporations and financial institutions call the shots you might as well stay at home on election day. Take George Carlin's advice on that. You are making a choice between two sides of a bad penny...

This is sort of required listening , it's about Trump's unfettered access to news programs and has made a compact with compliant networks in regards to being allowed at his Jerry Springer-esq rallies. This man is not even president (yet,?)and he's got the networks in his pockets. I makes me wonder if the networks will bend forward for him if he gets the nod.

Even if you are a Trump supporter do you want a man who is supposed to be held accountable to us already have the networks in his corner just for their ratings?

All Trump All the Time — To the Point — KCRW

The news networks have been taking their orders from the government for a long time now. CNN is nicknamed the 'CIA News Network' for a reason. Don't expect things to change once Clinton and Trump become your standard bearers.

Here's clip of George Carlin from almost 30 years ago.He nails perfectly PC cultural languaging & its evolving role in a dysfunctional culture.

Does anyone believe that a Trump presidency will change this 'PC' culture? If so, you're obviously suffering from a temporary form of an 'involuntarily-experienced delusional lapse.' :)

The problem is, billionaires are mainly dictators. Does anyone think a Trump type will work well with others? Do you remember 'President Ross Perot?' When anyone asked Perot on how he would conduct the country's business, he bristled at the question. Billionaires are used to giving orders. All this talk of cutting deals to make government work is pure hogwash, IMO.

Not the government, but certain economic interests.

People need to start boning up on economic theory - and some history. Forget all the brain-washing from the halcyon decades of the Red Scare, 1940's and 1950's. When Academia was purged of significant brain power. (See 'Many Are The Crimes' and 'The Lost Soul of Higher Education: Corporatization, the Assault on Academic Freedom and the End of the American University', both by Ellen Schrecker).

Really study economic theory. There's some great lectures available on YouTube if one prefers.

What Donald Trump Doesn’t Understand About ‘the Deal’

TEXT: "The centrality of the ‘‘deal’’ to Trumponomics is especially strange when you consider how tangential that concept is, or at least should be, to a modern economy. In Microeconomics 101, deals are an afterthought: Transactions have the most socially optimal outcome when buyer and seller reach a mutually beneficial agreement. The very idea of a ‘‘good’’ deal for one party and a ‘‘bad’’ deal for another suggests a suboptimal outcome; an economy built on tough deal-making, with clear winners and losers, will always be a poorer one. Meanwhile, in macroeconomics — which covers the big, broad issues that a president typically worries about — the concept of the ‘‘deal’’ hardly exists at all. The key issues at play in a national or global economy (inflation, currency-exchange rates, unemployment, overall growth) are impossible to control through any sort of deal. They reflect underlying structural forces in an economy, like the level of education and skill of the population, the productivity of companies, the amount of government spending and the actions of the central bank."

'Bone up on economic theory?' Most people I know are trying to hang onto their jobs and keep their heads above water.

Understood. But if people don't get savvy about economics (economic theory, with some history attached), then they will listen to someone like Trump and think they are listening to 'wisdom'. The economic tight place people you know are experiencing has everything to do with economic theory. No getting around it.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean you don't give your best option a shot (if those are some of the things important to you). In football, even if it looks like your team is going to lose the super bowl, who do you give the ball to? Give it to the player that gives you THE BEST CHANCE. Doesn't mean you are in love with that player or think he's the greatest in his position in the league, but it's your best chance to win the game. Right now, out of who is available - a lot of people believe that best player is Trump. I mean, it strikes me as odd; the amount of crap Trump is given considering Obama's performance. I mean how much worse can it be? We gave Obama an 8 year crack at trying to manage the country - people really think Trump is going to be way worse? It's not about does anybody think all these great things are going to happen under Trump. I think a lot of people go into this thinking "No matter who get's elected, it's going to be a $hit storm - but who provides the best chance of turning us around?" I think if you ask it like that it becomes obvious who DOES NOT give us the best chance.
