I mean... DAMN. :D

This is some of the stuff that utterly fascinated me when I was a kid. I spent a big chunk of my summer vacations from elementary & junior high school, hanging out at the Griffith Observatory just north of Hollywood. They had a big Tesla coil on display and would fire it up every couple of hours and do cool science demonstrations. It's still there, but they stuck it in a Faraday cage so people's pacemakers wouldn't go "erk".

If I had it to do all over again, I'd have got my Ph.D. in astrophysics or something closely related. Health care is a form of 'applied biology', so it's at least interesting.
