Oh, ok. I think this forum has been pretty lucky actually in that it hasn't happened too often since I've been a member.
 
Actually the poster wrote back to me apologizing. I got the impression of a young person just performing some stupid act he (she) devised, or on someone else's suggestion. But now they are blacklisted by the spam reporting agencies. We take this stuff seriously.

There was a time when I was a mod I was banning quite a few spammers per week, but it seems to have gotten much better with a few software revisions. It was satisfying banning spammers though.
