I have had a long-standing interest in the UFO subject, since my own sighting, as a high school student, in the late 1960s.

Shortly after the release of "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," I had the pleasure of attending a lecture by J. Allen Hynek himself. Not long after that I was introduced to the paintings of Budd Hopkins, well before he became known for his abduction research.

At this point I keep an open mind to all the possibilites within the UFO phenomenon. I can't say with certainty what it was I saw that summer night so many years ago (along with my friend Howard, his mother, his sister Katie and brother Mike), but it was unusual. Was it extraterrestrial, interdimensional or a black project aircraft? I do not know. But is was unidentified then and now and it piqued my curiosity.
