We Remember Pioneer UFO Researcher Leonard Stringfield on The Paracast

An Important Donations Update:
This is a difficult time for any individual to ask for donations, particularly in light of the plight of millions of citizens in Haiti as the result of that tragic earthquake.

Now as you know, I recently made a personal appeal for donations to help cover serious medical expenses. I am grateful for those of you who responded, yet realistic enough to know that the amount of money owed is way too much to expect you listeners to provide even a fraction of what's actually needed. If you are still able to help, of course, your donations are still welcomed and appreciated. Please send your contribution via PayPal to gene (at) technightowl (dot) com. Or use this direct link: Send Your Donation to The Night Owl. Please write if you wish to use a different payment method, such as a wire transfer to our bank account.

But at the same time, the people of Haiti need your help too, and their situation is far worse than mine. So please consider sending a donation to the American Red Cross, who will make sure that your money reaches the very people who need it the most. You can access their site at: American Red Cross.

Set Up: The Paracast hosts interview long-time researchers in the field, to shed light on the mysteries and complexities of our Universe and the secrets that surround us in our everyday lives.

Join Gene and David as they explore the realms of the known and unknown, and hear great stories of the history of the paranormal field in the 20th and 21st centuries.

This Week's Episode: UFO abduction researcher John Carpenter presents a tribute to legendary UFO researcher Leonard Stringfield, who spent 40 years collecting exclusive UFO reports from military informants. During this discussion, you will hear amazing details of UFO crashes, retrievals and alien autopsies.

The Tip of the Iceberg?

During our interview with UFO abduction researcher John Carpenter this week, he says something that shouldn't come as a surprise. When he gives public presentations, he's almost invariably contacted by someone who had a UFO encounter of one sort or another, but was afraid to talk about it.

Such reactions are mirrored by many investigators who make public appearances. Indeed, in our own forums, at The Paracast Community Forums, we've seen members join up and immediately report the incredible details of their own experiences. A few have had the courage to actually talk about what happened on the show, and more will be heard from during the coming year.

You have to wonder, then, just how many people out there have actually come face to face with the unknown. If it's an abduction, just what is really going on here? Are the intelligences behind the UFOs kidnapping thousands or even millions of Earthlings for reasons best known to themselves? If so, can we even begun to fathom the alien logic that is behind such intrusive behavior?

Indeed, the skeptics often cite the ubiquity of the abduction scenario as evidence against its reality. If ET wants our DNA, how many samples would they need to replenish their gene pool or create hybrid beings? For that matter, how many animals do they need to multilate, and how many crop circles do they need to create in order to achieve their goals?

Or is all this designed simply to get our attention?

Now the sheer number of cases, both reported and otherwise, simply demands intense research. Sure, maybe a fair number of those abductions have previously unsuspected psychological causes and are not representative of physical interactions with space people. Even if that happens to be true, certainly these are extremely odd symptoms that cry out for answers. The lives of far too many people have been literally turned upside down as the result of experiences of this sort, so it doesn't matter if there's no ET involved.

Even then, it may well be that abductions are not directly connected with physical UFO sightings, even though these encounters often contain elements of both.

Now when you listen to the Carpenter interview, I also want you to pay attention to one other significant issue that he mentions during the second part of the show, and that is the apparent weird design of some of those recovered space craft. If true, it means that the interior of those ships appears to be larger than the exterior.

Fans of the TV science fiction show "Dr. Who" know that the space/time vessel in which he travels, the Tardis, exhibits a similarly unusual characteristic. On the outside, it comes across as nothing more than an old fashioned British telephone booth. Inside, its dimensions are vast, perhaps representing some sort of altered space/time continuum concept.

But of course "Dr. Who" is just a silly TV show, one that has been a part of our popular culture for decades. Is it possible that such concepts have contaminated memories of those alleged UFO retrievals?

Or did the creators of "Dr. Who" just happen to come up with an idea that, strange as it seems, truly mirrors an incredible reality?

Well, maybe this is a subject that's just too crazy to talk about any further.

Peace,
Gene Steinberg

Tsk tsk, Gene. The TARDIS is a Police Call Box, not an "old fashioned British telephone booth". Those are RED.
