This Week's Episode: UFO researcher Preston Dennett returns with more incredible reports of UFO encounters, including abductions and reports at drive-in movie theaters. He also talks about what may be the growing possibility of, at long last, UFO disclosure. Preston began investigating UFOs and the paranormal in 1986 when he discovered that his family, friends and co-workers were having dramatic unexplained encounters. Since then, he has interviewed hundreds of witnesses and investigated a wide variety of paranormal phenomena. He remains a field investigator for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), a ghost hunter, a paranormal researcher, and the author of more than two dozen books and more than 100 articles about UFOs and the paranormal. An avowed advocate of the extraterrestrial theory for UFOs, Preston asks: Wh are they visiting our planet? What is their agenda? Are they friendly or hostile?

After The Paracast -- Available exclusively for Paracast+ subscribers on August 2: Gene and Randall continue the discussion with UFO writer/researcher Preston Dennett that began on the August 2, 2020 episode of The Paracast. After some pop culture talk about more and more people skipping movie theaters and watching them on their flat-screen TVs, Preston continues to reveal some more fascinating cases of UFOs from his book, “UFOs at the Drive-in,” whether some UFO cases are government experiments, plus some UFO abduction cases, including some where the victim fought back against the alien captors. Preston also talks about cattle mutilations and why he feels they are related to the UFO phenomenon. And is it possible that some UFOs are actually a form of advanced holography?

Mid-Summer Shop Talk

By Gene Steinberg

In recent months, I’ve sometimes felt that I’m living in an alternate reality; not a terribly pleasant one. We have a pandemic, economic turmoil, and please don’t get me started about the ongoing political mess.

If anyone knows of a nearby dimensional portal to enter, I’m game.

But in the midst of all this chaos, we are just moving along with The Paracast. There’s always a new guest to interview, and we’ve continued to focus on guests that aren’t always part of the usual paranormal talk show circuit.

Well, at least in North America.

So on July 19, 2020, we featured Australian UFO researcher Tino Pezzimenti. The following week, we interviewed a Dr. Roberto Pinotti, a long-time researcher from Florence, Italy who has worked with such well-known American UFO groups as APRO and CUFOS; the latter with Dr. J. Allen Hynek.

It is always fascinating to see how the subject is treated in other parts of the world. There are differences.

And these two also joined the growing number of guests who decided to hang with us for the After The Paracast podcast, an exclusive feature of The Paracast+.

The Paracast+ got its start back in 2014 when I convinced management at the GCN network to let me offer a version of The Paracast free of the network ads. A few weeks later, After The Paracast debuted as a value-added extra.

In addition to color commentary, After The Paracast features special interviews, and often the guest from The Paracast stays on to continue the discussion or focus on different topics.

There’s a lot to listen to with a library of hundreds and hundreds of episodes. As a result of the pandemic, and the ongoing move to spending more time at home, you may have more time on your hands.

As you may know, TV streaming services are getting record traffic, and more people are also signing up for The Paracast+.

We really want you to check it out, and that huge price reduction — with discounts of up to 40% and more — is going to remain in effect until things settle down.

More features are in the works. There are also plans to post some classic episodes of another paranormal radio show, featuring some well-known figures in the UFO field from the 1960s. You’ll hear some really unique perspectives as to how things were viewed then, and it’ll be interesting to see how it all turned out in the decades to come.

Now we have to admit that signing up to The Paracast+ hasn’t always been easy. It was a two-step process, first requiring that you join our forum before you can upgrade your membership to enjoy the new features. A few months ago, we upgraded the signup process, so you can subscribe and signup to the forum at the same time.

In addition, any forum member can now gift an upgrade to another forum member. We’re also looking for ways to make this happen for non-members too.

There are more upgrades coming. You’ll read about them in this newsletter as we approach our 15th anniversary episode. Yes 15 years, and it’ll happen on our February 28, 2021 episode. We expect some very special guests to honor that occasion.
