Unusual animal behavior

Don't know if I'll remember to stick with it but I thought I'd try to start and maintain a thread for unusual animal behavior that get my attention like beachings beachings, disappearances (I guess this could include such things as CCD) and mass migrations so here are a couple of instances a more recent one that sounds like it could be a avian Roanoke mystery and a little older one that caught my eye a few weeks ago.
