And according to Star Trek lore, warp drive will be invented in 2063.

Warp drive is a sci-fi fantasy. At best the "warping of space" is an analogy for another as of yet to be understood phenomenon, generically labeled "gravity", that causes objects in space to behave as if there is a "curvature" to space itself — when it can clearly be illustrated that that's not actually the case. It's just a geometrical representation of the behavior of objects freely floating in space in the vicinity of massive objects.
Competing theories include such things as gravitons. Whatever the technology UFOs are using for propulsion, it doesn't seem to be so massive. Very small UFOs have been observed that cannot possibly be running on terawatts of power. The secret is something else — probably something simple, but not yet stumbled upon by our inside-the-box scientists.
