Unfortunately there's no way to verify any of the backstory, which is pure hearsay. The materials might be something to look at, but there's no way to verify the chain of custody. The history of metamaterials goes back to the late 1800s. I also hear denial of the skeptic's suggestions rather than explanations as to why they they could not in theory have been used. I've also heard conflicting stories about the sample. Besides that, a small sample of some material from an unverifiable source does nothing to confirm the existence of alien technology, let alone neutralize gravity.
