Well, sort of.
You see, actor Brandon Routh, who portrayed Superman in "Superman Returns," a less successful entrant in the superhero series, will appear as Ray Palmer, the alter ego of Atom, a super hero who can change his size, in the TV comic book show, "Arrow."
‘Arrow’ Casts Brandon Routh as The Atom
As some of you might know, the name, Ray Palmer, was actually meant as an homage to the "other" Ray Palmer, the controversial editor of "Amazing Stories" magazine and co-founder of "Fate." The real Palmer was complicit in promoting the Shaver Mystery and the Maury Island UFO hoax. Due to a childhood accident, Palmer was partly crippled and was quite short, less than five feet all.
Art and life — what a concept!
