One of our favorite bloggers, and a Paracast guest, Red_Pill_Junkie, plans to attend the Roswell Slides event on May 5th in Mexico City.

And report back to us in a recording session set for May 7th, Thursday evening.

So this is the time to post your questions, and maybe arm Miguel with evidence and suggestions of what to look out for from this affair. Or what not to look out for.
 
Great. It will be very helpful to hear his report and impressions. Does anyone know whether the internet-streamed event will be archived for viewing later? I have a link to the site where one registers to watch it live and I plan to do that too.

I would be interested in hearing about RPJ's impressions of the crowd attending: who they are, what they seem to be there for, what the mood is, etc. Also helpful would be alerts about any significant cultural nuances of the event that non-Latino/Hispanic/Mexicans would not otherwise understand.

Question for Red Pill Junkie
Did you hear about any interesting specific Mexican UFO cases,
while you were there?
 
Given that you heard and saw the presentations of the forensic anthropologists and the interdisciplinary scientist Richard Doble following the break, do you think that others, especially biologists, anatomists, and specialists in evolution will read the reports and become involved in the investigation of the nature of the being in the slides?
 
Much ado about nothing folks! Seems to be the general consensus about the so-called "big reveal". When will people learn...

Dolan's reputation is shot to pieces after his involvement in this fiasco. Shame really, since he seems like a genuinely likeable guy with an interest in the field.

I think it's fairly safe to say that what we're looking at here is a human mummy of some kind, whether from ancient Egypt or elsewhere. There are some interesting comments on Kevin Randles blog, and Nick Redfern had some pretty strong opinions about the whole sordid affair too. No wonder most people don't take ufology seriously after bullshit events such as this one.
 
I don't think Dolan's reputation is 'shot to pieces' by his recent recommendation that further research be done concerning the characteristics of the body in the slides by experts in various biological and forensic fields before too many people jump to conclusions. What's wrong with that prudent recommendation?

Associating himself with a known fraudster like Jaime Maussan doesn't exactly help his case much, does it now? I'm also curious as to why he decided to go down to Mexico in the first place. Had he already seen the slides before he got to Mexico City? Tom Carey was insistent during his interview with Jimmy Church on Fade to Black a couple weeks back that the slides prove the being is an alien. He wasn't able to provide any serious evidence for those claims though.

I agree with Redfern's recommendation in his concluding paragraph:

"My recommendation: a deep search for any and all old photographs of the interior of the Million Dollar Museum in its early years. The town of White’s City was founded in the 1920s, by a man named Charlie White. He lectured in the museum, nearly every Friday night, until his death in 1962. Someone, somewhere, may have a few photos taken during those lectures. Just maybe, there is light at the end of the tunnel, finally, on the matter of the Roswell slides."

There are likely many researchers in new Mexico who could pursue what happened to the artefacts collected in that roadside 'museum' when it was closed. If that establishment included other child mummies, as has been claimed, perhaps it did contain the remains of the being in the slides and others. Perhaps some or all of those specimens can be located and turned over to scientific specialists for analysis. Maybe someone in White City will remember where the very small being photographed in the museum was found (in the nearby caverns perhaps). How many of these odd childlike mummies were found in the region, ending up at this rurual roadside tourist attraction close to Carlsbad Caverns? They might be terrestrial species rarely seen in the past, but found in a small group in the caverns. I think scientists would be interested in studying them.
