passive radar

Peter Davenport at NUFORC has been talking for a little while about putting up a privately funded, passive radar system, with the idea of detecting physical craft traveling at very high speeds.

The technology seems like it could even be doable on a hobbyist basis.

I'm just wondering if anyone else on this forum has considered putting something like this together on their own.

great find Jeff,

Id love to make one to try it out. Personally speaking if i had the money id get all the kit i could, and do as much field research as possible.

With modern inexpensive GPS clocks, could this be expanded to something the size of the Earth? With antennas at specific ley line nodes, perhaps we could track something really interesting..., triangle shaped...., generating lots of gamma background noise....

Never mind, forget I said anything, Mr. Cheney.....
