Curt Collins is the author behind the website "Blue Blurry Lines," which is focused on the UFO mystery, as well as its legends and hoaxes, and "The Saucers that Time Forgot," with Claude Falkstrom, focused on unearthing “tales that UFO history has overlooked, or would rather forget.”Among other cases, Curt has taken a particular interest in the 1980 Cash-Landrum Texas UFO Encounter. After a career in retail management Curt began writing about UFOs, with a special interest in re-investigating that paradoxical case, from which the eyewitnesses evidently suffered from an assortment of injuries and illnesses.
Curt has written entries for such books as "American Myths, Legends, and Tall Tales: An Encyclopedia of American Folklore," "UFOs: Reframing the Debate," and "What’s Wrong with this Picture," examining the “Roswell Slides” fiasco. His work has been featured in a few documentaries and television shows, and he made a brief appearance in the 2015 documentary Cosmic Whistleblowers by Simon Sharman, and was an uncredited consultant for: Hangar 1 episode “UFOs Over Texas” 5/22/15, History Channel; NASA’s Unexplained Files episode “Top Secret Terror” 3/5/15, Science Channel; UFO Conspiracies episode “UFO Swarm” 12/10/14, Science Channel.
One topic that will be discussed is the possibility that some UFOs — certainly not all sightings — might have resulted from flights (or crashes?) of test aircraft.
