Moving Doors

Angel of Ioren

Friendly Skeptic
I'm perusing the forums and all of a sudden, the door to my basement starts moving. It's pretty creepy actually, because it does seem like some sort of entity or whatever is trying to open it. However, since I don't believe in ghosts, I naturally look for a plausible explanation. Well, the wind has picked up outside, and the window in my bedroom is open, and because there's a cat door in that door, it's creating some pressure, causing it to move - it's really, really creepy; I can't stress that enough.

Anyway, here's the point of this post: if someone who believes in ghosts would see this happen, would they come to the conclusion that there's a spirit in their home, creating a ghost story to tell people?

It makes me wonder how many paranormal experiences that people have are actually things like this.

It depends on how you pursue what's true. If your lazy and just latch onto beliefs there are a dime a dozen examples to shore that up. But if you believe something to be true yet want the proof, you'll test different theories to work the problem out.
