So we returned to nuts and bolts UFO investigation with research scientist Phyllis Budinger.

This is one episode I really hope you'll listen to carefully, because if shows off an individual who is dedicated and fearless, who lets the chips fall where they may. But where's the physical evidence of UFO reality? Where's the evidence that they are, as many state, spaceships?

You'll also hear our reaction to this episode — and of some pressing political issues — in this week's episode of After The Paracast, an exclusive feature of The Paracast+.

Chris, do you think these increased levels of magnetitie could be due to local minerals being magnetized as well as levels of magnetite already present being attracted to the source ?

If this were the case do you think there is anything that could be ascertained about the craft's propulsion system either way in the context of the magnetite being drawn to the source as opposed to maybe local iron already present given a magnetic charge ?

No, magnetite is magnetite, other minerals are other minerals. On one of the plant samples, a rudimentary micron sized quartz crystal was observed and plant samples appeared to have been magnetized.

The one that springs to mind is that whatever process is involved in the event features a powerful magnetic field that is a heat event that melts the magnetite into round spherical shapes which may suggest a negative gravity environment is also present. That's a layman's amatuer interpretation but it is a possibility.

Good show and scientific investigations were refreshing and on another note wonder what about radiation levels does solar panels give off on homes? Does it have a correlation to so called abductions /sleep paralysis on homes with them? Also where does all that radiation go and folks who have solar panels on their homes should check insurance polices regarding coverage? What happens if Earth temperatures increase with some aspects to solar warming? Does Solar particles have a element to play with humans interactions of these so call encounters with magnetic type apertures?

Not knowing who Budinger was I had my doubts about this episode but it turned out to be really interesting and thought provoking. I think I was expecting to hear a female, toned-down version of Dr. Leir and she was SO not that. I think Gene remarked in the aftercast that she is very soft spoken, which is true, but she strikes me as much more of a heavyweight than Leir. If more people involved in the ufo field could speak as credibly, knew their stuff as well and were willing to let inconclusive findings remain tantalizing inconclusive . . . It was also very interesting hearing about her career and how she worked in a sideline of ufology.

She mentioned wanting to put up a website to make her various papers available and I think that's a great idea. I hope she does or can find someone who will do it for her.

I listened to the show while working so may not have been giving the full 100% attention I usually do but I was very pleased to hear Phyllis saying that actually many of her colleagues were interested in her work and only a few were and wanted that to be a secret. She didn't make any wild claims and was very data-driven as far as I can tell.

Really she is yet another unsung hero to the field who beavers away unknown to many, whilst actually contributing far more than many 'names' who put bums on seats at conferences.
