Over the years, the world of search and social networks has changed. Once it was all about Yahoo and MySpace.

Today Google owns search, despite the efforts of Microsoft's Bing to catch up.

On the surface, Twitter seems all right for most people, although Elon Musk has done his best to make a huge mess of it.

And then here's an article that doesn't paint a pretty picture of Twitter's future.

And then there's TikTok, from which I've stayed away for now. But it doesn't matter if I'm monitored by China, since there's not much to discover.
