Hook the technology above to Google's translator and it changes the world.
At first you will be walking down the street in France and can ask "How much for a train ticket to Lyon ?" and the iphone thats just read your thoughts will "speak" that in flawless french.
Later it uses GPS data to do so in the local dialect.
The next one sends the question directly to the brain of the person you are asking directions from.
Humanity will speak a common language at last.
Lets hope we do better than the THHGTTG in its application though.
Jokes aside how cool will that be ? Your personal devices acting as universal translators.
One humanity gets used to it, we can add apps for non terrestrial languages as well.
