A friend of mine claims that phantom V-1 Flying Bombs, were sighted in Northern France during the late 1960's. Can anyone add to this?

A V-1, apparantly struck a cinema in Romford, Essex, in 1944... whats interesting is that though no ghost as such has been seen, locals report a sensation of blast being felt for no apparant reason- last reported incident having happened in the mid-80's. Anyone know what might cause ghost-blast?
