any details on that vid? time, place, etc?
It was taken in a shopping mall in Chile, South America, and surfaced on the internet 06/04/09. It is alleged that the tiny greyish phenomenon is the ghost of a small local boy.

it seems to be casting a shadow though?, was gonna suggest that it was perhaps a shadow from something on the roof of that building, like a lot of the shopping centres have some windows in the ceiling? maybe?

Funny thing about perspective is that anything that walks further away from the vantage point, becomes smaller. This "apparition" seems to defy the laws of perspective.

Which leads me to believe it's something on the lens.

It indeed looks like something on the lens. At least to me, not sure about other people's perspectives.:D

Could be a bug on the lens....Yay! Rods!........

Why don't you get ghost dinosaurs? Would be more a case of "things that go KER-SMASH!! in the night"....and they probably couldn't find a sheet big enough....:D

Bug on the lens; moves like one. The camera is focused at a distance, so the bug is not in focus. You can try it yourself. Put something on your lens, focus at a distance, and Voila! Your own apparition.
