About December 9, 1980: The Morning After

Here's a strange story:

On December 9, 1980, at around 1:00 AM our alarm clock radio went off, several hours before it was set. The first news item was about John Lennon, that he was assassinated the previous day.

The alarm was properly set and never went off early again during the years that we used it.

Here's my conspiracy theory on the assassination:

First: The CIA and other agencies were keeping an eye on Lennon, perhaps even thinking of "neutralizing" him ...

Second: A small voice in Chapman's head told him to kill John ...

Third: The CIA was developing directed sound technology that could make it sound like someone was talking to them inside their head ...

Not to mention: John Lennon also saw a UFO and was interviewed by the news about it. Together with his influence on counterculture and respect for truth, could it be that nobody wanted to take any chances and decided it was time to silence this long haired troublemaker?
