What do you guys think about ghost hunters provoking ghosts to try to get them angry enough to move something or lay down an EVP? Silliness, or valid method? If particualr ghosts/spirits are sentient, and generally nice, is it ethical?

Did anyone watch this show last night? What'd you think? It was an emotional thing for me, because my grandmother and her little sister were taken from their mother and put into an orphanage, so it was sad to think about her life like that. On the other hand, there were some interesting ghostie...

Thoughts? Has anyone tried using dowsing to detect spirit energy? I've never done it myself, but I'm seeing it more and more on ghostie shows, and I'm just not sure how much credit to give it.

Do you all think that contactees/abductees have "always" seen UFO's, or that some are sudden or one-off experiences? We haven't talked about shadow people in a while...anyone seen any lately? I saw part of a "someone" walk thru the bedroom last night...only odd in that they weren't coming out of the haunted closet. I saw a dark head and shoulders but nothing past that point.
