    Psychic Ability.

Wow. I don't know what to say to this. We're in complete agreement on this. Good luck. As someone who works in the field, I was trying to suggest ways that you might be able to quantify your psychic ability and possibly develop it. But you didn't ask for my advice and I'm sure you will find...

    Who is Mel Fabregas?

Jordan Maxwell has been using this exact phrase as a tag line forever, and is a great example of what can happen when ordinary men pursue extraordinary knowledge. It isn't pretty.

    Psychic Ability.

I know you're being facetious, but one logical fallacy that I see everywhere is the one you repeat above -- If psychic ability were real, you should be able to do absolutely anything with it. If your psychic ability cannot make you omniscient/omnipotent, then it therefore isn't real. That's...

    Psychic Ability.

I'm sorry, but this statement is utterly ridiculous. The mind is not exact. So how can you be exact when you're reading it? What is in someone's mind other than imagery, impressions, maybe a few scattered words and phrases? The mind is primarily imagistic, non-verbal, non-linear, and...

    Psychic Ability.

Some of these words would be just about impossible to get. For most people, psychic information shows up in the form of imagery or impressions. There's no image or symbol that I know of that can express a concept like "left" or "insincere." If you can find a psychic who can pass this test...

Whoa, thanks. I'll have to look more closely at that.

Does "The Day After Roswell" have any remaining credibility?

My issue with Corso's book is that he is always the hero of his tales. Whenever an author doesn't allude to their own flaws and shortcomings, it suggests that they're not being honest with themselves or with the reader.

Does "The Day After Roswell" have any remaining credibility?

I think they tried that during the 1990s and it didn't work out too well.

Can you please point me to where Randle talks about this?

I have gotten caught up in doing this myself. But I think it's totally crazymaking, and I think this is one of many reasons that people in this field often go slowly insane or start believing truly outlandish things. There just has to be a better way of getting at the truth.

    Psychic Ability.

There's no faith involved. The testing doesn't happen in a lab, but it's there. Some of the work I do is out of a store, and obviously the stores test you before they hire you, so there was that as well. My clients are usually very skeptical of readers and informally test a reader before...

    Psychic Ability.

What is evp? I would count "boob" and "universe" as hits. Pretty good. I would like to find a way to demonstrate that psychic abilities are real and do work, but I'm not sure that scientific testing is the best way to detect them. People at Princeton (PEAR) studied the phenomena for years...

    Psychic Ability.

I work as a professional psychic. No, I'm not a fake or a cold reader. I don't know if I have a particularly high natural psychic ability, but I've trained what I do have and I learn more every day, so that gets me by. I have a lot of faith in my ability, but I'm not sure I'd want to be part of...

It wasn't a sideways comment. I sort of dropped out of the discussion because I didn't want to say that my friend is of average intelligence and she told me that she didn't do particularly well on whatever preliminary testing it is that they give you. I'm not sure what role she was applying for...

If these "Beings" are so advanced

This is an explanation I haven't heard put into words before, and it's brilliant. It would explain why many people report that their extremely close encounters are not exactly "real," yet definitely not a dream.

If these "Beings" are so advanced

Yanno, it's exactly types like these -- the kind that can't get along at home -- that so often go out colonizing "new worlds." Few in Holland were sorry to see the Pilgrims go, after all. So maybe we're getting the galaxy's jerkiest aliens. Wouldn't it explain a few things?
