    Getting Lost is scary

I went for a walk in Shanghai a couple of years ago, got distracted by the fact I was homesick, miserable and had just been told my wife that my beloved Jetta Wolfgang was destroyed beyond repair and suddenly realized that I had wandered out of sight of my hotel. Although I speak Mandarin...

    The Man From Earth

Man From Earth It is (or at least recently was) available from RedBox rental units. My wife rented it about a week or so before David first mentioned it. She called it heavy handed and said it did not even manage the charm of something like "New Amsterdam." She said by the end she was only...

    Alien Interview Discrepencies

When I listened to the show, I did it in two parts. Early on, I thought the editor said that any money was going to a charity he was involved in starting a couple of years ago. Later, he hadn't mentioned the charity anywhere because it had only just started and did not have a website. If it...

    MonsterQuest | Stalin's Ape Man

Yeah, I was so disturbed by the offer I don't think it occurred to me to check which monkey!

    MonsterQuest | Stalin's Ape Man

Ever since this originally aired I have been trying to find something I read a few years ago about a Japanese actress offering to mate with a gorilla or chimpanzee as a test of her abilities as an actress... Anyone ever come across this? It was in the late 80s or early 90s (I think).

    MonsterQuest on the History Channel

New episodes begin tonight... I don't remember what is scheduled though. I believe it is an hour earlier than before, too.

    Silvia Brown

I think you mean Criss Angel not Chris Rock. In St. Louis, the local CBS affiliate (who ironically runs Montell Williams, where Ms. Brown is a fixture), is all over her after a recent appearance here. St. Louis media has a problem with her since she told Shawn Hornbeck's parents he was...

    Cold-fusion demonstration "a success"

It's really terribly exciting IF it is true and IF it can be repeated and IF the data checks out, which seemed a bit sketchy from the blog. Now that reads a bit sarcastic but I do not intend it to be; if this can be duplicated by others it will give new life to the field. If not... well, no...

    UFO Books on Project Gutenberg

We Met The Space People (The Story of the Mitchell Sisters) is also on Manybooks.net.

    UFO Books on Project Gutenberg

I believe that Donnelly's Atlantis and Ragnorak are on there as well.... not UFOs but interesting. I use, when I can, ManyBooks.net because they offer their public domain books in a variety of formats. It is much more user friendly.

    UFO movies

I haven't seen the 2002 English language version, but I have seen the original 1972 film. Although not as bad as Keanu, I have trouble imagining Clooney measuring up.

    UFO movies

Have you ever seen The Outer Limits episode called The Zanti Misfits?

    NBC, do you believe?

I am not very knowledgeable about telescopes (however, if someone could connect me to a source for good, relatively inexpensive non-computerized scopes for the beginner I am interested!) but I am pretty handy with a professional video camera on a tripod. I would not have the world's easiest...

    UFO movies

Rick, I am not surprised that is in other threads, but when the question is specifically for reasonably intelligent UFO related movies... well, hell, I mean The Day The Earth Stood Still is kind of the grand-daddy of them all, don't you think? And it might not have been missed, but many people...

    UFO movies

I also think that Lifeforce was set in London, wasn't it? I don't think it was in a small town... I need to find a copy of it again!

    UFO movies

Lifeforce was written by Dan O'Bannon (who also wrote Alien, AvP and Dark Star) and directed by Tobe (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) Hooper. It is a fine film although I don't remember the aliens outside of the human bodies they took over... I do remember a good deal of nudity. It doesn't compare...

    "Why We Fight" documentary.

This link is not working; was it a link to the WWII era film (actually film series)? If so, I believe you can find them on Archive.org because they are all public domain.

    UFO Hunters

I am watching the most recent episode- on UFOs and NASA- right now on my DVR. Wow! This is not a bad episode at all. The experiment guy's section (what is his name.. John Tindel or something?) was actually A) relevant and B) debunked a video that I kind of expected at least some members of...

    UFO Hunters

Since they constantly rebroadcast the show, which one do you mean? Was it the most recent new one about the '65 incident near/around Edwards AFB? I started to watch it but then opted for cartoons (that cat just can't catch that mouse!). I still have it on my DVR, though. The fact that they...

Do not discount the fact that lemurs are just kind of creepy looking.
