    orange flash & missing time

The sun was definitely down. It was approx 9:30 pm, and the sun would have set around 5:PM. Well past twilight. In sept or oct (or maybe very early nov?) the sun goes down early, and the football games were lit with big lights.

    orange flash & missing time

In reply to D'Hatz Lat Long coordinates: 42°29'45.65"N 83°14'31.26"W This is where the "Orange Flash" happened. Pull back and you can see the high school football field. My ol' house was about a block away.

    orange flash & missing time

This is a revised and updated drawing to try and show visually what I saw out Kenny's window. Please factor in that this was approx 35 years ago, but I think this "feels" pretty accurate. The jPeg image below seems to appear a little to bright on my monitor, it was (I think) a little darker so...

    Appartion

Chuck... These kinds of stories are so amazing to me. They seem to get overlooked in the ghost hunting media shows. Here's a question: ============= How has your perception of the world around you changed? Are you more open minded because of this experience? (Okay, by the fact that you are...

    10 QUESTIONS for "experiencers"

I agree - the term "experiencer" is totally leading and loaded. It's in quotes on purpose. M!

Anyone seen this video? Is it faked?

David? You need to chime in on this. Jeff R. you too... First of all, these low quality YouTube things are so grainy that it's hard to really now what you're lookin' at. The interesting stuf is the fact that it is pointing up into the sun, and that causes all kinds of video flaring and...

    orange flash & missing time

I struggle with the sleep paralysis thing in relation to the memory out the window in Maine. I mean, if some narrow minded professor of psychology interviewed me, I would have no witness (or anything else) except my memory. If they declared "sleep paralysis" or "vivd dream" I would be left...

    Phillip Corso and Bill Birnes

Every one seems to agree, Corso was a good soldier. My gut feeling is that "maybe" he had some insight into some mysterious workings surrounding crashed stuff. But - More likely - he was asked to create a fanciful story, sprinkled with some truths, as a did-information ploy. If he was a...

    orange flash & missing time

Oh boy - this series of postings has descended the point where I'm writing about my cat. Just so y'all know - This format has been really therapeutic for me. It's given me a chance to make sense of my muddled memories, worries and concerns. Big thanks to everyone who's chimed in, I appreciate...

    orange flash & missing time

Please know, this little essay thing was written under the influence of coffee. It has that kind of heavily caffeinated tone of smarty-pants-ism that seems to permeate my psyche after my second cup... Cat and String november 2006 The term UFO implies a lot, and by definition, it’s...

    David?

This is a strange field with intense dudes. Listening to Bill Birns go on (and on and on) was pretty intense. (I'll add I kinda like him) And, true enough, David is an intense dude too. (right on for David!) A common pattern in this strange field is that people will dive in, get...

    orange flash & missing time

This is a synchronistic story from April of 2007. It's weird. Lemme start with this, my face requires sun protection. I spend a lot of time outside in a mountain environment, and at high elevations. I get this irritated red face thing, and certain sun-blocks make it worse. Yes, life can be...

    10 QUESTIONS for "experiencers"

Do you consider yourself an EXPERIENCER? That's a term loaded with baggage, but so is ABDUCTEE or CONTACTEE. Alas, I don't have a good vocabulary word to describe "this weirdness." Please, if you feel like you fit into this category, could you answer the questions below as a reply. No...

    Michael Crichton Dead at 66!

Maybe it was the re-make of THE ANDROMIDA STRAIN that did it? I'm sorry, that sounds cold hearted. I like some of his books, especailly the ANDROMIDA STRAIN. I think the first movie version (directed by Robert Wise) is one of the greatest movies ever. I love that film, and Michael Crichton...
