You keep cutting and pasting the exact same stuff - are these your own words or somebody else's?

    WTF Are We Talking About?

Enormous, dark, silent craft flying over populated areas, witnessed by thousands is a 'psycho-sociological phenomenon'. That is a leap.

Why are The Hosts so Afraid of the "Space Brothers" Scenario?

Well, for me, 'Roswell' has never been the 'nail' on which the 'UFO picture' is hanging, so if that event was really 'something else', then that's fine by me. One less case to worry about... I'm sure most countries have got many dark secrets in their closets that they'd rather forget.

    WTF Are We Talking About?

Clarity. Is it time to leave the terms 'ET', 'ETH' and 'ETI' behind? Are those terms too 'loaded'? Are they even relevant in the context of UFOs, which are by definition 'unidentified'. Should we adopt more generic, less provocative terms? Any suggestions?

Why are The Hosts so Afraid of the "Space Brothers" Scenario?

I have had many 'uncomfortable' thoughts about the American 'elites', their war-time connections and the atrocities carried out by the Nazis. This explanation for Roswell is not new to me and has some merit in my mind, but in a way, I think the US would be more willing to offer ETIs as an...

23 Mar 2008 Show - Coalition for Freedom of Information

I've just finished listening to the show and thought I'd just take the opportunity to thank Gene and David (and Leslie) for a truly excellent show. You asked some very insightful questions and your guest did an excellent job of answering them. IMHO, you got the balance just right (whatever...

    Arthur C. Clarke passes away

Clarke's 3 Laws of Prediction: When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong. The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way...

    My Problem With Debunkers

IMO, 'debunkers' are zealous skeptics - they are as bad as the FIGU crowd. They are protecting their belief system. If UFOs are 'something else' rather than 'mundane' then their belief system crumbles - they will fight tooth and nail to maintain their 'reality'. Learn to identify them, then...

    Arthur C. Clarke passes away

Indeed - my recollection is, that it was the "Arthur C Clark's Mysterious World" TV series of the late 70's, early 80's, that got me interested in the paranormal.

    3.16.08 Episode - Don Ledger

Hmmm, I dunno. 120 minutes is a lot of air-time to fill. Although, I did want Don to get to the point sometimes, I didn't mind all the 'incidental' detail because it painted a very vivid picture. If your head is swimming with all that detail, then I think it must be difficult to keep it concise...

    Arthur C. Clarke passes away

Obviously "2001" is the most obvious one, but I remember that I really enjoyed Rendezvous with Rama. <-- WARNING: Article contains spoilers.

This Video Compelled me to join the forum!

Too right - my willingness to accept pictures and videos as singular proof of something extraordinary is close to nil. :) On the other hand, if there were multiple witnesses taking multiple photos and videos, then I would have to consider the possibility of a real event.

This Video Compelled me to join the forum!

Yeah, but the danger of thinking in that way is that you would also dismiss a 'genuine' picture as a fake. That's all I'm saying. At the end of the day, pictures (and videos) have very little value either way.

This Video Compelled me to join the forum!

**Shrug** - I dunno. Like the others have said, I'm immediately suspicious of footage that has no beginning or end. I mean, how long was the 'UFO' visible? If it flew away shortly after this video ends, then why didn't he video that? If he did, why has he left it off the video? If you're into...

BOMBSHELL IMAGES FROM NASA MUST SEE!!

Yes - if you want it to be. No - if you want it to be. Personally, I think it's a mistake to focus so much attention on the 'faces' - look at the sky on a cloudy day; you can see all sorts of 'unnatural' shapes. Or more correctly, your brain is designed to make some sort of sense out of a...

    Question for dB

That's the most concise answer that you have given on this topic and is much appreciated. Thanks. Arghhh - I'd have to go back nearly 20 years and dig out my maths books to even begin to comprehend all that 'shorthand' - so no, that didn't clear anything up at all. Care to go it through...

    Are Crop Circles all Bunk??

Yes I know, I remember the show. It was quite interesting, as I recall. I'm taking the scientific approach to the crop circle phenomena. If I can explain away 90% of the crop circles as 'art' then I don't have to consider the remaining 10%; I can just put them down to 'anomalies'. You know the...

    Question for dB

So, you're saying that UFOs ARE extra-terrestrial craft and it's only a matter of time before one falls into the scientist's lap for them to examine. Until that time, science is helpless to get any nearer the 'truth'. Therefore, what you are saying is that if we never get our hands on one, then...
