Well, sometimes ufology is it's own worst enemy and doesn't even need the spooks to stir the pot. I can think of several occasions of researchers behaving badly that had nothing to government disinformation campaigns. I do think anytime the spooks start coming around, it's not ever about UFOs...

The podcast is High Strange, and it may get into that, but the first episode of the second season delivered clips of David Grusch's testimony and that short clip of Gary Nolan talking about the CIA and UFO injuries without any further context.

Oh, my first thought it was a disinfo campaign to cover up some shady stuff. I don't know if all those individuals were targeted or not, but I'm inclined that Nolan's conversation arose from incidental or targeted exposure to some classified tech.

So...Nolan claims the CIA came to him with the MRIs of people whose brains were damaged by UFOs. And no, I'm not making this up. Nor do I believe for a second that it was UFOs. Here we go again. Want a start a pool on what kind of shape the conspiracy is going to take this time?

Gene, I'm sorry that you've had such a rough time of it, and that this wasn't the news any of us wanted. I hope good things find their way to you as you navigate the next chapter.

I found the Greg Valdez interview this morning and I'm currently listening to it. I might have skipped it in the past because of the mention of Dulce, but I'm pleasantly surprised that it hasn't devolved into "there's an alien base at Dulce" nonsense...

I've read Mirage Men and the Gorightly book cites it, so I figured I should go ahead and read Bishop's book, too. Any other good books on disinfo/psyops in the UFO field out there?

I'm not a fan of predictive text. For something that is supposed to be helpful, it always ends taking me longer to text somebody. Wow, just wow.

So when I posted about a certain book being on sale, I started wondering about what you are all reading right now. I'm currently reading Saucers, Spooks, and Kooks by Adam Gorightly. I bought an anthology of William Hope Hodgson for his weird/horror fiction this week, too.

Oh, I got into these topics around the time that Project Camelot was making outrageous claims. The farce aspect has been alive and well for a number of years as far as I'm concerned.

I use both. I do like the search function in ebooks, though. I've found that feature helpful over the years. I think both have their advantages.
