This was filmed in Fremont, California in December 2008. It was first discussed here in these forums in this thread. It's just maddening how the Sun Newspaper gets it wrong and THEN MSNBC picks it up and does no fact checking on the case...

try again...link is working fine for me. I just watched the video again and it is rather remarkable. Looks for all the world like massive, metallic spheres very close to the sun. They even appear to be reflecting light of the sun.

watch it all the way to the end. all six lights appearing to be attached to one frame. that doesn't look th least bit odd to you?

It absolutely looks like it is at a higher altitude than the airliner with the blinking lights that crosses the field of view at the beginning of the clip.

that is a seriously spooky story....."crypto-terrestrial" is one of the better hypothesis I have heard in a while.

I recall seeing that video last year. Large disc, shaped object on the back of a truck. What is the more likely answer: A large piece of military or industrial equipment that need ground transport, or an ultra top secret UFO from space that the military somehow captured and decided that right...

Granted it is anecdotal evidence, but something about the details and the emotions they are reporting has the "ring of truth" to it. Interestingly enough, there is another very similar report , also from Texas on the same site just a few days later...

Askoy is at the complete opposite end of the country where the Russian rocket spun out of control in the skies over the sea. Perhaps this is just a copycat prank by someone with a VERY powerful laser?
