January 11 - Angelia Joiner & Frank Warren / Stephenville Sighting

Last summer I had a rare chance to visit the Scottish Rite Temple in Galveston as part of an architecture tour. (This was pre-Ike; I don't know but judging from its location I suspect it didn't fare very well in the storm.) The Docents were all high-ranking Masons. I was struck by several...

Time to get Rich Dolan back on!

In some of his earlier essays on the Keyhole Publishing web site, or maybe on earlier podcasts, he mentioned that he has a resume-crafting service in Rochester. And, of course, he had that Sci-Fi network gig and he does a lot of public speaking now.

Time to get Rich Dolan back on!

Well, that's kind of a tease, don't you think? I know about his 9/11 work, but isn't there anything else you can share? I think most of us who listen to the Paracast think very highly of Richard Dolan and wish him the best, but if one of our shining lights is going off the rails a little...

New Ad Spot - eFoods Direct - Survivalist Retailer

Yes. Ike just showed a lot of us Gulf Coasters what 2 weeks worth of FEMA MRE's are like. Including my 83-year-old mother who refused to come stay with us, with our working electricity and grocery stores, because her little dog would be happier at home! I think if you live within 2 hours...

    David's Podcast

OK, to do this on a Mac, you need the Flip4Mac WM components, Firefox, and MPEG Streamclip. Go to the Angry Human page and select "play" on the episode you want to hear. Look at the URL that appears in the pop-up player window, and copy the part of it that looks like a web address. Paste...

    David's Podcast

Angry Human can be captured and added to an iPod with enough effort and some free third-party software. In fact, I have never encountered any web-based audio for which that is not true. David, would you like me to post instructions, or would you prefer that I do not?

    Richard Dolan Interview

Why doesn't Gene or David just e-mail Rich and ask him? It is an important question, one which should be separated from personal disappointment or acrimony. What makes Richard Dolan, who seems very credible, give any credence to Bob Lazar, who seems much less credible? Sure, any of us...

are there any other podcasts worth-while?

Since you're here, you've already found the best one. :-) Greg Bishop's Radio Misterioso is another good one, even if episodes are few and far between. PreCognitive Dissonance just had Paul Kimball on and it was a great show. I'll be checking them out more. I _want_ to like...

    March 9th - Jacques Vallee!!

Hans Buchmann. Here's a narrative from a distant descendant with some more information (you'll have to scroll down a bit to get to the Hans Buchmann part.) http://www.informatik.com/1572.html

We need quotes from our listeners

The Paracast is that rare bird in the paranormal community: openminded without being naive, respectful without being credulous, technological without being overwhelming, and above all, never losing sight of the wonder and the very real fear that comes with these experiences.

    UFO good guys (for Siani)

Keith Chester (WWII and "foo fighter" researcher.) Brad Sparks Chris Styles Frank Feschino (some have problems with him but his research sounds impressive to me.) Carl Feindt (water UFO's) and of course Tim Binnall.

    UFO good guys (for Siani)

Richard Hall? Dr. Bruce Maccabee? Kevin Randle? Dennis Balthaser? BTW I agree about Joseph Farrell.

    David is a Yanni fan?!

Yes, disco babies don't remember that the Bee Gees broke out in the late 60s and were originally considered contemporaries and heirs apparent to the Beatles.

    The Hunt For Mr. Ferris!

I certainly didn't mean to violate anyone's privacy with what info I posted (all of which is freely publicly available.) Certainly, bringing David back into touch with an old neighbor (if he wants to pursue it) doesn't seem any more "stalking" than, say, genealogical research. Additionally, I...

    The Hunt For Mr. Ferris!

This case in NUFORC is interesting... could it be related? Note especially the description of the disk. http://www.nuforc.org/webreports/003/S03408.html David, any thoughts on what lies in the area where you saw it coming over the trees? Might be interesting to see what lies in a...

    The Hunt For Mr. Ferris!

26 Patton seems to belong to a couple named Gray. Veromi.net shows several older people named Ferris who have had addresses in Somerset, NJ. Switchboard shows only one Ferris in Somerset, a Joseph who seems to be in his mid-late 30s. Maybe an obit search in Lexis-Nexis will be next.

How to introduce my daughter to UFO's/Paranormal

I'm going to try Mysterious Universe and use it as fodder for discussion. As to why, I suspect it's because of the saturation of UFO and alien imagery and ideas in our culture today, and just because it's an interesting mystery. She's nearly thirteen, and pretty savvy. If she gets spooked...

How to introduce my daughter to UFO's/Paranormal

First, my sympathies to David for his implant problems. We've spent a lot of money on the insertion, removal, and recovery from just one implant for my wife, and she still doesn't have a functional implant. Second, my wife is very interested in renewable energy/solar energy, and has been...

    Questions for Paul Kimball

You and Richard Dolan seem to be among the level-est heads out there. On the Other Side of Truth you say that two of you had a friendly conversation during the X-Conference. Do you have any plans for collaborating with Dolan?
